Regarding CLASH’s Governing Body:
All executive decisions, which may include but is not limited to: championship defenses and title shots, match sancitioning, roster rankings, and tournament entry will be made by CLASH Wrestling’s governing body. This body is headed by CLASH executive officer Mr. Nicholas Clashertone.

Regarding Roster Rankings:
Roster rankings are derived from an average of four independent categories. Each of these four categories takes into account it’s own different combination of factors.
Win/Loss Percentage: This category includes but is not limited to: a wrestler’s number of wins, number of losses, margin of victory, and other issues.
Sportsmanship: CLASH Wrestling stresses sportmanship and rewards it’s wrestlers for following it’s code of respect and honor. Thus, our ranking system may penalize a wrestler for disrespecting or taking advantage of an opponent.
Wrestling Skill & Acumen: CLASH prides itself on providing some of the best wrestling in the world, thus a wrestler’s skill and acumen has a direct effect on his roster ranking.
Work Ethic/Quality Of Opposition: This category factors in the strength of a wrestler’s opposition by following a mathematical formula that determines how tough the wrestler’s opponents were, and therefore, how impressive their victories are.

Regarding Title Shots and Contention:
Wrestlers will be awarded title shots based on their roster ranking. The highest ranked CLASH wrestler (aka #1 Contender) is able to request this title shot at any time, so long as he retains his ranking. The champion is also able to request a title defense at any time, against any opponent of his choosing.

Regarding Tournament Entry:
CLASH Wrestling holds 2 to 3 tournaments annually. In every tournament, wrestlers have to place an entry bid in order to be considered for a spot in said tournament. Once all bids have been placed, the wrestlers deservedness will be calculated based on a combination of the following: win/loss percentage, sportsmanship, wrestling skill & acumen, work ethic, and dedicatedness to CLASH.

Regarding Match Rules:
The standard winning condition in wrestling is the pinning of the opponent’s shoulders to the mat for a length of three seconds, which is determined only by the referee. In addition to pinfall, a match can be won by submission, count-out, disqualification, or failure to answer a ten count.

If either wrestler is in contact with the ropes or if any part of the wrestler is underneath the ropes, all contact between the wrestlers must be broken before the count of five. This strategy is often used in order to escape from a submission hold, and also, more seldom, a wrestler can place his foot on (or under) the ropes to avoid losing by pinfall. This is often referred to unofficially as a rope break.

Regarding CLASH Exclusive Matches:
In addition to traditional wrestling bouts, CLASH Wrestling will, at times, present new matches entirely unique to the promotion. They are the following:

“By The Books” Match – A favorite of head legendary official Steff The Reff, a “By The Books” Match is one in which the rules are strictly followed. For example, throwing a closed fist or cheating in anyway is cause for an immediate disqualification.

CLASH Gauntlet Match - In the CLASH Gauntlet, two men start in the squared circle and a new competitor enters every 90 seconds (numbers are drawn at random prior). A competitor is eliminated from the match once he is thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the floor. This process continues until two men are left. The match then continues under normal rules – where victory can be obtained by pinfall, submission, disqualification, or countout.

Ultimate Endurance Match – A CLASH exclusive match which is a true test of endurance, as the winner is not declared until one wrestler records two falls. The match begins as a traditional Tag Team Match where teams are drawn at random. Upon completion of the first fall, the team that gains the victory then immediately face one another in a singles bout. The man that wins both falls is the winner of the Ultimate Endurance match. Falls are usually awarded on the basis as a traditional match – pinfall, submission, countout, disqualification.
