We are exactly one week away from the 2010 NPCI, the biggest Tag Team Tournament in the state of Michigan! Next weekend (Friday & Saturday, July 16th & 17th), 16 teams from around the globe come together to compete for tag team supremacy! As we know this year marks the third anniversary of the event, and the 2010 NPCI is quickly shaping up to be the biggest and best yet! Throughout the last two weeks we’ve announced a number of NPCI Opening Round contests. Today, we announce the final two matches!
First up we have a match featuring the newly reformed duo of Josh Thor & Danny Danger, The Jawbreakers taking on Hybrid Wrestling. Can the tandem from Easton, PA walk out victorious in their 3rd attempt at the NPCI crown? Or will Hybrid Wrestling make a huge impact in their CLASH debut? Join us on Friday, July 16th to find out!
The final opening round contest is actually still half a mystery. We know on one side of the ring will be Flip Kendrick & Louis Lyndon of Aeroform. Their opposition on Friday, July 16th will come in the form of the two winners of that evening’s Wild Card battle royal. Word on the street is that a number of singles wrestlers (and maybe even a tag team or two) have entered the Wild Card Battle Royal. This puts Aeroform at a disadvantage, as they are the only team in this year’s NPCI without a chance to prepare for their competition!
With the final 2 matches being announced, we now know the entire landscape surrounding next weekend’s monumental events. Be sure to check back here at WWW.CLASHWRESTLING.COM this weekend, where we will have a full writeup of the entire NPCI lineup! Until then, remember to purchase your tickets online ASAP! Not only do you save money, but you’re ensured the best seats as well!
