CLASH wrestling gives car crowd different twist

LINCOLN PARK - It wasn’t just the revving of motors and the squealing of tires that could be heard throughout town Saturday. It also was the “oohs” and the “aahs” coming from Memorial Park. New to this year’s Cruisin’ Downriver, CLASH Wrestling set up several matches in the park for about two hours.
A six-man tag team was the highlight of the event by the Collective League of Adrenaline, Strength and Honor, which featured body slams and many other moves made famous by professional wrestling. The club is based in Lincoln Park, and the event attracted nearly 500 people, said Michael Higgins, a member of the city’s Cultural Commission, which oversaw cruise events in the city this year……
