FROM UNEMPLOYED TO #1 CONTENDER: WRECKINGBALL WINS THE WAR!
The Wreckingball wins the war…All Out War that is! Still, a man who was sent to the unemployment line back in April by the CEO Truth Martini; a man who has purchased a ticket each month since as a supporter of CLASH Wrestling; was finally a man who received a golden ticket entry to “All Out War!” Who would’ve thought? The weeks leading in, members of the CLASH faithful had been submitting their responses via various social networking sites that CLASH is affiliated with and none saw The Wreckingball as a golden ticket entry, let alone securing the win and #1 contendership!
What does all of this mean? Is the Wreckingball back with CLASH Wrestling? Well, that’s the curveball because news of this has reached the desk of CEO Truth Martini and his words were very short, but simply put: “NO, Wreckingball is no longer part of the active roster.” So, we have a very precarious situation where the Wreckingball will be signed to compete against reigning CLASH Champion, “GQ” Gavin Quinn in which will truly be a golden opportunity of a lifetime! WHAT IF Wreckingball can overcome Quinn’s 10 month reign? WHAT IF Wreckingball becomes CLASH Champion? Will he be given his employment application to continue to perform? These are questions waiting to be answered upon the result of Gavin Quinn vs. The Wreckingball on October 22nd.
CAVEMAN EXTINGUISHES THE SIN CITY SPARK
It’s been a roller coaster ride but on September 3rd, that ride came to a halt after a grueling Steel Cage match between “Caveman” Tyler Elkins and “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy. The conclusion saw the “Caveman” neanderclaw his way out the cage door leaving Skyy unconscious. We saw Skyy’s mentor as of late, “Amazing” N8 Mattson aid him to the back after the contest; what’s next for both competitors remains to be seen.
“WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ABOUT J. MILLER? NOTHING” – GAVIN QUINN
Following another victory over Zach Gowen in “GQ” Gavin Quinn’s hot streak as CLASH Champion; Quinn grabbed a microphone to address “Murderous Monk” J. Miller’s return at “100” on 8/6. To paraphrase, Quinn mentioned that the list of names he has defeated including the likes of Cameron Skyy, X-Pac, Petey Williams, Jimmy Jacobs, Zach Gowen etc; J. Miller was not on his level and thus he would do nothing about the “Goodbye Tooth” kick he received from J. Miller on 8/6.
However what Gavin says, isn’t always what Gavin does… During the “All Out War!” contest, J. Miller had rid the ring of Ded Vaughn (who had eliminated the most competitors in the match) only to have Gavin Quinn slide in unexpectedly and toss Miller over the top rope, eliminating him. Quinn then walked to the back with a grin on his face as he returned the favor from receipt of the kick by removing Miller from title contention. Rumor has it that J. Miller has taken an vow of silence; so what will his reaction be on October 22nd?
HIS NAME IS…DRAGON GREED
The CLASH faithful has always known the former CLASH Champion as Dragon Kreed, debuting with the company in March 2008 and rising to the top by March 2009. Since aligning himself with CEO Truth Martini in order to gain employment once again and decimating “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo at “100” in the process, Dragon Kreed denounced his name at “All Out War!” requesting to be now known as “Dragon Greed” in reference to his deep pockets and lifestyle of excess.
One should know that in the world of Professional Wrestling, if you do unto others, they will do unto you… Dragon Greed, if you will, received a bit of payback by the “Swagg Starr” as Manzo’s music interruption was enough time to distract Greed from winning the opening Fray match to “All Out War!” However Greed later eliminated Manzo in the contest. What’s next in the rivalry between the two? We shall find out LIVE at CLASH From The Crypt.

CAN QUINN BE PINNED? J. MILLER RETURNS WITH AN ANSWER
Once again, current CLASH Champion “GQ” Gavin Quinn proved to outlast “Maple Leaf Muscle” Petey Williams in a stellar main event attraction this past Saturday Night. The match itself, easily a top MOTY (Match Of The Year) candidate, was a perfect example of the caliber of professional wrestling one can expect at a CLASH Wrestling live event! As Quinn stood victorious, beginning to embark on a now 9 month title reign, he noted that there was nobody left for him to prove himself to until an unexpected surprise walked out… former CLASH Champion, J. Miller! The “Murderous Monk” made his way to the ring and silenced the CLASH Champion with his trademark “Goodbye Tooth” signature kick and covered Quinn while the fans in attendance shouted 1-2-3, signifying victory! What will Quinn have to say about this? Can J. Miller be the one to pin Quinn? This question is now a lingering inquiry that should have more light shed on it at ALL OUT WAR on September 3rd!
NEW CLASH TAG TEAM CHAMPS ARE TOOOOO SWEEEEET!
Ok, so we went overboard on the excessive “O’s” and “E’s” on Too Sweet, but nevertheless Bryce Benjamin & Joey Marx achieved Tag Team success by reclaiming the CLASH Tag Team Gold from The H3RD (“Mad Scientist” Tommy Treznik & Ded Vaughn) at 100. The win appeared a bit jaded as after the referee was inadvertently knocked down, Treznik grabbed the title for offensive use but ended up accidentally blasting Ded in the skull with the belt, thus aiding Too Sweet in their victory. If you recall, The H3RD’s initial win over Too Sweet was also jaded after being added last minute to a Gauntlet Match by Truth Martini at Age Of Allegiance in April. It would appear we haven’t seen the last of these two teams in action with one another.
Either way, the victory was not only satisfying to Bryce & Joey giving them a 2nd run with the belts, but the attendees lit up as they rushed the ring in celebration! The H3RD are guaranteed a return match against Too Sweet, however on September 3rd, Bryce & Joey will be showcased in Non Title Tag Team action against former members of The H3RD, The Painkillers.
ALL OUT WAR IN A CAGE
At CLASH Wrestling’s 100th, we learned in Jenny’s “Ring Of Love” that the contract signing between former friends “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy & “Caveman” Tyler Elkins would take place in the first ever Cage Match in CLASH Wrestling on September 3rd! Skyy & Elkins have been at each other’s throats since Elkins turned his back on Skyy, costing him the CLASH Championship that kickstarted Gavin Quinn’s reign. The two will finally meet for their final encounter in an “Escape-Only” Cage Match; but before the two made the signing iron clad, Elkins requested his signature be etched in stone, literally. This was only a diversion as Elkins used the stone tablet to jab Skyy in the abdomen before his match, then signing the agreement barring any physical contact with one another until ALL OUT WAR.
Skyy still gained a victory against Shark Boy and returned the favor on Elkins later that evening in his bout against Rhyno. Before, Elkins could sink in the “Neander-Claw,” Skyy appeared on the Clashotron distracting the Caveman allowing Rhyno to get the Gore for the win! A feud over a year in the making, who will walk out victorious; will it be a celebration of the stone age, or a jackpot win to the sinful delight? Find out on September 3rd!
CEO TRUTH MARTINI HIRES HELP
Following “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo’s victory over “American Nightmare” Hakim Zane, the CEO Truth Martini made his way to the ring. During this interruption of Manzo’s victory, Martini laid out that he needed an accomplice as his responsibilities as CLASH CEO are ever growing due to CLASH Wrestling’s rapid expansion. Before Manzo could answer the request, the recently fired Dragon Kreed (who had purchased a ringside seat with the also fired Wreckingball) jumped into the ring and urged Manzo not to take the job. Seconds later, Kreed attacked Manzo and pleaded with the CLASH CEO to hire him back and make Kreed his accomplice. Martini agreed to rehire Kreed, but as of this writing Wreckingball is still unemployed from CLASH Wrestling.

COLUMN: Striker Takes A Look At What Got Us To 100
July 18, 2011
Greetings once again fellow space travelers, to another great addition of Pillar to Post. Do you like how I just validate my own column by calling it “great?” I have no real criteria to say it’s great, I just run with it. I guess you can decide for yourself when this journey is over. Before we depart, have you noticed that Facebook, Twitter, and CLASHWRESTLING.COM are going supernova with activity about 100? No? Are you living in a cave? Are you Tyler Elkins? Wake up people, 100 is approaching like a meteor!
I firmly believe this will be the greatest and biggest show in CLASH Wrestling history! I also believe there’s no better way to grow anticipation for the biggest event ever than by looking back at the events that got us to this point. So return your chairs to their upright and locked position, put away your tray tables, and turn off all electronic devises (except for the one you are using to read this) because today we’re looking at the top events in CLASH history as we go Pillar to Post.
#4: 3rd Annual Triple Crown Cup (March 28, 2010)
Like 100, Triple Crown Cup was a night of shock and surprises. It also has the distinction of featuring the first ever womens match in CLASH Wrestling history. The show had some great matches on it and the Triple Crown Cup has been a respected and distinguished honor in CLASH.
Then: Truth Martini belittled Mena Libra’s victory and said that women had no place in CLASH Wrestling.
Now: At 100, Truth Martini will be giving a “State of CLASH” address. What he has to say is anyone’s guess, but I’m sure it will be a major shake-up.
#3: The Future is Unwritten (October 23, 2010)
The Future is Unwritten is a great example of what CLASH wrestling is: entertainment from start to end. There were many great matches, engaging moments like the “rebirth” of William J. O’Malley and even a CLASH Wrestling costume contest that I should have won!
Then: Tommy Treznik defeated Dave Manzo. Despite the loss, the match was a turning point for the “Swagg Starr” and pushed him to new levels of success.
Then: Hakeem Zane picked up a tag win for his team, before being attacked by Ded Vaughn.
Now: At 100, both men are looking for a better night, but only one can walk out victorious as Zane takes on Manzo.
Then: Will Vendetta retired and William J. O’Malley was introduced.
Then: “The Elder Statesman” Gideon Malice came up short against Cameron Skyy.
Now: At 100, O’Malley and Malice (Sons Of Sanity) will be teaming with a mystery partner to take on the CLASH Wrestling Super Squad of the Power Rangers and Marvelocity.
#2: NPCI 2008 Tournament (June 14, 2008)
The 2008 NPCI sent a message about CLASH wrestling. It said, loudly and clearly, that CLASH wrestling will feature the best tag team action in the midwest. Interestingly, this show featured a taste of things to come as it saw Tyler Elkins take on Cameron Skyy in an effort to become CLASH Champion. This event also marked the formation of The H3RD.
Then: Skyy Defeated Elkins to retain the CLASH Championship.
Now: Skyy and Elkins both look to get back into the title picture. Skyy can do so by defeating Shark Boy while Elkins has to go through the Man-Beast Rhyno.
Then: The H3RD was formed.
Now: The current H3RD, Tommy Treznik and Ded Vaughn defend their titles against Too Sweet. Former H3RD members will also be featured, with Austin Manix taking on Jimmy Jacobs and the Painkillers squaring off against “Amazing” N8 and Mena Libra.
#1: Seize The Day I (January 5, 2008)
The event that started it all. How can you look at an event to be the show that will change everything without looking at the show that already did change everything? Seize The Day put CLASH on the map and made it an overnight hit. When fans poured into the Taylor Town Trade Center for Seize the Day I, two things were instantly clear: first, that CLASH Wrestling provided high quality entertainment, solid matches, and a great value, and second that there were fans in Taylor and all over downriver Michigan that had a desire to see some great professional wrestling.
Then: “Ace High” Cameron Skyy defeated Gavin Quinn, Tommy Treznik, and J. Miller to become the first ever CLASH Champion.
Now: Quinn looks to defend that very same title. As CLASH Champion, he’ll take on Petey Williams in a rematch that promises to be a true classic.
Looking back I can’t help but be excited. All the history, all the lessons learned, every moment leads us to one conclusion: 100 cannot be missed. I hope you’ve all enjoyed the history lesson, I’ll see you on August 6th. In the meantime, remember to check back often because you never know when John Striker will take you Pillar to Post!

100 – THE ANNIVERSARY EVENT
On August 6, 2011, CLASH Wrestling will host its 100th live event emanating out of the TaylorTown Trade Center in Taylor, MI. The CLASH faithful are accustomed to the annual “Seize The Day” event in January as CLASH Wrestling’s anniversary event, however this 100th milestone is quite a feat, specifically in Michigan. Over the years, CLASH Wrestling has appeared in a variety of Michigan based cities such as Taylor, Dearborn, Livonia, Mt. Clemens, Rockwood, Birch Run, Swartz Creek, and even outside of Michigan in Bloomington, IN. These appearances have included our monthly supershow extravaganzas, festival events, Rock Concert additions, charity events etc! Rest assured, 100 will be a celebration like none other, a party in the name of CLASH with some of the hottest attractions & an innovative presentation of Professional Wrestling that only CLASH is capable of.
MAIN EVENT MADNESS SET FOR 100
With a plethora of Main Event Attractions signed for 8/6; this event has turned into a must-see presentation! In our last news flash, we touched on a possible MOTY 2 (Match Of The Year 2) candidate of CLASH Champion Gavin Quinn vs. Petey Williams for the Heavyweight Championship; additionally the Tag Titles are up for grabs as CLASH Champions H3RD (Tommy Treznik & Ded Vaughn) will defend against the red hot Too Sweet (Bryce Benjamin & Joey Marx)!
Over the weeks, we’ve announced even more blockbuster encounters as the “Man Beast” Rhyno will lock horns with the bare foot brawling “Caveman” Tyler Elkins in a special attraction. Additionally, Elkins’ foe and former friend “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy will take on the man who eliminated him at the Contenders Cup battle in February – Shark Boy! Both Skyy & Elkins will be looking for that win as the two will meet in September in their final battle, stipulation to be determined.
CONTINUING TO LOAD & RELOAD THE 100TH EXTRAVAGANZA
Jacobs vs. Manix – The list of signed attractions doesn’t stop with the aforementioned matches. ROH & International star Jimmy Jacobs makes his CLASH return after a 5 month absence to take on former H3RD member Austin Manix. Manix has been short with CLASH authorities and in his own world of sorts, it’s to be determined if he’s ready for the challenge that Jacobs offers as Jacobs looks to bounce his way back into the CLASH Championship picture.
Mixed Tag Team Action – Mena Libra has submitted her clearance to compete on 8/6; although the clearance looks to be premature due to her broken foot, the fighting spirit within Libra has pushed for competition and she’ll be joined by the (so it seems) mentor of Cameron Skyy, “Amazing” N8 Mattson. Mattson applauded Libra’s heart following her contest with Skyy on 6/4 and has opted to tag by her side as the two will take on the returning & former H3RD members, The Painkillers (Donnie & Jacob Hallows).
Go Go Power Rangers – The Rangers are back in 6 man Tag action as they’ll now be joined by “self pro-claimed” superhero Marvelocity! The trio will work to tackle down the Sons Of Sanity (William J. O’Malley & Gideon Malice) whom are continuing to spread their message of purity, but this time will debut a new team member; that to which is a surprise to be revealed on 8/6!
Swagg Starr vs. Hakim Zane – The most recent signed bout is between the red-hot “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo and the returning Hakim Zane. As previously mentioned on CLASHWRESTLING.COM, Zane returns with a new approach & outlook on life and professional wrestling and is poised to make his mark on his CLASH return; however Manzo has been intermittently in & out of CLASH Championship contention and is on a red hot streak, join us on 8/6 to determine the victor.
Wait, there’s more? The answer is YES! The CEO Truth Martini returns to “shake things up” once again with his traditional “spring cleaning;” will someone lose their job?? Also, VH1 Reality Star, Jenny (Rock Of Love Bus) will be joining us with guests to be determined; in addition other recognizable athletes such as TD, “1986 Version” Keith Calhoun, new superstar debuts, and a few more wild surprises we’ll keep to ourselves! (P.S. If you haven’t got the hint…be sure to join us in the fun on 8/6, tickets available now!)

With the celebration of reaching the 100TH Live Event for CLASH Wrestling, we’ve got a ton of wildly entertaining attractions coming your way, but let’s recap our most recent Supershow, CLASH TO THE FUTURE: PART III, current CLASH happenings, & what we can expect as we approach “100” –

TOO SWEET UPSETS DEAN/QUINN, CHALLENGES H3RD
On 6/4, the abilities of Bryce Benjamin & Joey Marx were “Too Sweet” for the Simon System duo of Simon Dean & Gavin Quinn (c) when Too Sweet scored the pinfall over Dean. This momentum may be all Bryce & Joey need as they challenge The H3RD for the Tag Straps on 8/6 at 100! Too Sweet, whom had remained undefeated in Tag Team action until Age Of Allegiance on 4/23, even then had battled their way through an entire Tag Team Gauntlet reaching victory, until CEO Truth Martini made a last minute addition of H3RD who picked up the pieces and walked out with gold.
This time, no gauntlet, just two teams at 100 percent will battle it out on 8/6! Both teams respectively hold their own credibility as previously mentioned with Too Sweet’s win record, but when looking at the H3RD, leader “Mad Scientist” Tommy Treznik is a 5-Time Tag Champion in his own right. While spearheading his H3RD movement with masked monster Ded Vaughn, Treznik has truly made his mark in Tag Team competition, but never before has a team had such an impressive win record as does Too Sweet; the collision is set, be there at 100 as we make history!
SKYY PASSES THE TEST
For months, we’ve caught glimpses on the CLASH YouTube channel of backstage interactions between “Amazing” N8 Mattson & Cameron Skyy. N8 has attempted to mentor Skyy as he has said he was the same guy years ago, however, Skyy had been looking up at the lights for too long as adversary Tyler Elkins is a serious threat. It boiled down to winners or losers as Cameron Skyy reluctantly took on an injured Mena Libra on 6/4; by match end, we witnessed an awakened Skyy as he drilled his “Deal Me In” signature for the win, to N8’s approval. Although Mena Libra had suffered defeat, she earned respect by both Skyy & N8 for going through with the bout.
Now as we progress, Skyy & Elkins have yet to have a win over one another with multiple no contest situations; as the two await their final encounter in September, we’ll be making it official on 8/6 with the stipulation and contract signing.
MOTY II
M.O.T.Y. – Match Of The Year candidate for CLASH Wrestling is a statement referring to the encounter between CLASH Champion “GQ” Gavin Quinn and Petey Williams from February’s Contenders Cup event. CLASHWRESTLING.COM previously ran an article touching on Quinn’s career and impressive reign as champion as the list of names that have been laid to defeat continues to grow. In February, Petey Williams took Quinn to the limit; although still suffering the defeat, the two will meet in what some are predicting may just be another “Match Of The Year” candidate, and what better the environment for this special title defense than on our 100th Anniversary Event!
OTHER 100TH ANNIVERSARY ATTRACTIONS
As matches are still being announced for “100” on 8/6, we can confirm that Former WWE Star Rhyno will make his CLASH debut in addition to other stars returning for the event include SharkBoy, Jimmy Jacobs, & all your CLASH favorites such as Mena Libra, Cameron Skyy, “Caveman” Tyler Elkins, VH1 Reality Star Jenny (Rock Of Love), “Amazing” N8 Mattson, Austin Manix, Sons Of Sanity, TD & more! The event will also be amped up with a live musical performance both preshow and during intermission to be announced, stay tuned to CLASHWRESTLING.COM for all the juicy details!
