CLASH News Flash For January 30, 2012: Huge THANKS to the large attendance that supported CLASH Wrestling for our Anniversary, SEIZE THE DAY V! More thanks attributed to our sponsor, Big League Brews Sports Bar – they kept the after-party rockin’ until 2am following the event. We’ve obviously got a ton to cover so let’s jump right in -

NEW CLASH HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION – PETEY WILLIAMS!
We’ve received tons of messages and compliments regarding the stellar main event that closed out SEIZE THE DAY V between Gavin Quinn, Petey Williams, and J. Miller. Already an early MOTY (Match Of The Year) candidate but more importantly it begins a new era…the era of Petey Williams. Petey successfully outlasted both competitors by pinning Gavin Quinn with his signature “Canadian Destroyer” off the top rope ending Quinn’s 15 month reign as champion. What will the era of Petey Williams behold? Gavin Quinn is entitled to a rematch according to his contract, when will this happen? Stay tuned to find out!

NEW CLASH TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS – H3RD
Due to a match switch involving the Painkillers (Donnie & Jacob Hallows) getting involved in Zach Gowen & Colt Cabana’s bout; they were subsequently removed from their advertised title opportunity. This gave both H3RD (Tommy Treznik & Ded Vaughn) and Too Sweet (Bryce Benjamin & Joey Marx) better odds to 50/50. In the end, it was H3RD that left victorious making this version of Treznik’s H3RD formula two time tag team champions. Tommy Treznik currently holds the record as most Tag Team title wins (6 occasions) in which looks to be his most successful tag team formula yet with Ded Vaughn. To “Too Sweet’s” credit, its notable to mention that Bryce Benjamin was the first competitor to ever kick out of Treznik’s devastating “Bus Driver” maneuver before finally succumbing to the H3RD.

A “BOOM BOOM” DEBUT
Although originally advertised as Colt Cabana vs. Zach Gowen; and interruption by The Painkillers resulted in a tag team match giving Cabana & Gowen the victory in Cabana’s debut for CLASH Wrestling. Will we see Colt Cabana again? You can count on it! Colt Cabana received a great reaction from the CLASH faithful, so stay tuned for further talent announcements in our 2012 season.

WRECKINGBALL WINS, BUT WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
In a match that had so many emotionally involved, the non-contracted Wreckingball defeated CLASH competitor, “Caveman” Tyler Elkins in a non-sanctioned bout at SEIZE THE DAY V. Hold on, but where do we go from here? Remember, Randy “Wreckingball” Casey is NOT employed by CLASH Wrestling since being released by CEO Truth Martini in April 2011 and reinforced by his right hand man Dragon Greed. So although it’s a win for Wreckingball, this is not a contract back into CLASH Wrestling and on 2/25 he will be purchasing a ticket for general admission should he want to support CLASH. What’s on Elkins’ mind though? He lost to a non-contracted individual certainly damaging some his integrity. What will he have to say? Find out at CONTENDERS CUP on 2/25!

CAMERON SKYY’S BRASH FAREWELL TO “AMAZING” N8
One of the other big moments of SEIZE THE DAY V featured “Amazing” N8 Mattson’s departure from a 15 year in-ring competitor to the business. This moment allowed N8 to talk about what he had accomplished, what’s next, and lastly to pass the torch to those he had been connected with in CLASH – Mena Libra & Cameron Skyy. In the midst of this speech, Cameron Skyy intervened by saying that torch was extinguished just like N8’s career. Skyy brought to attention that he was former three-time CLASH Champion (more than any competitor) and since being “mentored” by N8 Mattson, it has only brought him loss after loss. Skyy stated that 2012 would be a new year with no N8; with that said Cameron Skyy later on went to gain the win over Former WWE Star Jimmy Wang Yang.

GREED IS GOOD
For Dragon Greed, the 1%’er, greed certainly is good as money talks. Impromptu, Greed (with his CEO power from Truth Martini) added a special referee of Austin Manix to call his singles bout with “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo. Needless to say, this handicap aided Greed to victory and is a story we’re certain we haven’t seen the end of yet.

WILL VENDETTA RETURNS
While he’s been on the CLASH roster since our birth on January 5, 2008; Will Vendetta has seen a variety of transformations. Being brought in as an aspiring green-haired independent wrestler, becoming the “Guitar Hero,” then denouncing his name to be referred to as William J. O’Malley; you might ask why back to Will Vendetta? Well, we don’t know either, but what we do know is that is had something to do with “Mad Scientist” Tommy Treznik’s left over elixir for Ded Vaughn made to take Vaughn back to his previous form (more monstrous) for a tag title win. This previous form if drunk by a guy like William J. O’Malley…I think you get where we’re going here. Will Vendetta of old is back, and we’re interested to see what goals he has set!

That’s all for now, we’ll be back frequently updating you on the explosive card we have in store for CONTENDERS CUP on February 25th in Taylor, MI!

CLASH News Flash For January 20, 2012: Well it’s been several weeks with tons of developments toward CLASH Wrestling’s biggest event and anniversary extravaganza – SEIZE THE DAY V! This event which comes to fruition on Saturday, January 21st marks the start of a brand new 2012 season of CLASH Wrestling and certainly won’t fail to deliver. Let’s get you the “what you need to know” for this Saturday’s event, and get everybody caught up to speed –

Big League Brews Sports Bar presents
CLASH WRESTLING: SEIZE THE DAY V (Anniversary Event)
Saturday, January 21st, 2012

TaylorTown Trade Center
22525 Ecorse Rd.
Taylor, MI 48180

All Ages: $12 General @ Door
8pm Bell; Doors @ 7:30pm

GAVIN QUINN (c) vs. PETEY WILLIAMS vs. J.MILLER (CLASH CHAMPIONSHIP MAIN EVENT)
In what’s hyped to be a 2012 “Match Of The Year” candidate already, this main event sells itself. The year-long championship reign of “GQ” Gavin Quinn is put to the test against rivals Petey Williams and J.Miller in a bout that will be contested in Triple Threat rules. Quinn and Williams are no stranger to one another having two intense matches in 2011, both Quinn walked out victorious. Insert former CLASH Champion, J. Miller who has silenced the champ with a “Goodbye Tooth” at 100, however we have yet to see Miller and Quinn go at it in one on one action. After months of these three intertwined in matches with one another and the surprising conclusion of the Divided We Fall “Eliminator Series” final; there’s no doubt that these three competitors are the rightful headlining contenders to close out SEIZE THE DAY V!

TOO SWEET (c) vs. H3RD vs. THE PAINKILLERS (CLASH TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP)
Both of CLASH Wrestling’s prized championships for the first time will be contested under Triple Threat rules. What better collaboration of Tag Team talent than the red hot Too Sweet (Bryce Benjamin & Joey Marx) (c), H3RD (“Mad Scientist” Tommy Treznik & Ded Vaughn), and The Painkillers (Donnie & Jacob Hallows) competing for tag supremacy. There’s no question that Too Sweet and H3RD alone have had their epic battles exchanging the gold from one another. Now, insert the former H3RD members of The Painkillers. Will there be any allegiance between H3RD and the Painkillers? Is it every team for themselves? Find out this Saturday night!

COLT CABANA vs. ZACH GOWEN
This special attraction will be one for the independent ages. Both are former WWE superstars and notable through the Independent circuit for their contributions to Professional Wrestling. “Boom Boom” Colt Cabana makes his CLASH debut against Michigan’s own “One Legged Wonder” Zach Gowen which will surely be a treat this Saturday in Taylor, MI!

“CAVEMAN” TYLER ELKINS vs. WRECKINGBALL (NO COUNTOUTS, NO DISQUALIFICATION)
Hey folks, technically this one is off the grid. If we all recall, Randy “Wreckingball” Casey is no longer contracted by CLASH Wrestling to perform since being terminated by CEO Truth Martini early last year. His drive to get his job back is evident with his attendance to every live event paying the ticket price. Additionally, the Wreckingball as those knew him by has dropped a considerable amount of weight (200+ lbs.) and even won the opportunity to compete against Gavin Quinn (c) this past fall when he was awarded a Golden Ticket entry to All Out War! and won. Needless to say, his reoccurring appearances at all our live events has been an inspirational journey of a man who is focused and determined to get his foot back in the door, here at CLASH.

His biggest roadblocks however are the CEO’s protégé Dragon Greed and new rival “Caveman” Tyler Elkins whom has tried to have the Wreckingball banned from purchasing a ticket. Dragon Greed has granted Elkins his wish in getting a non-sanctioned bout with Wreckingball at Seize The Day V to abolish him completely. Who will be victorious?? Find out this Saturday Night!

JIMMY WANG YANG vs. “ACE HIGH” CAMERON SKYY
In another huge special attraction, Former WWE Star Jimmy Wang Yang makes his CLASH return to battle “Ace High” Cameron Skyy! Cameron Skyy is the only man in CLASH Wrestling history to have captured the CLASH Championship on more than 1 occasion (he’s actually a three time former champion) who’s career is at a crossroads following the impromptu retirement of his partner & mentor “Amazing” N8 Mattson. One must think that both Yang and Skyy have a lot to prove, not only to themselves, but to one another as well! Who’s walking out with the win? The Fun Loving Cowboy or Sin City Sparklin’? Only one way to find out, and that’s by joining us for SEIZE THE DAY V!

“SWAGG STARR” DAVE MANZO vs. DRAGON GREED
This one has grudge written all over it. In August, CEO Truth Martini appeared to be offering Dave Manzo the job of a lifetime; to be the CEO’s assistant. When Martini was turned down, Dragon Greed (who had been terminated earlier that year) accepted followed by a devastating powerbomb to the “Swagg Starr.” Since then, these two have been back and forth. Manzo successfully pinned Greed at Divided We Fall in November to advance in the “Eliminator Series” however Greed got the last laugh interfering and causing Manzo to be eliminated. This is the rematch with Greed looking to redeem his loss and Manzo looking to redeem Greed’s assault. It all goes down this Saturday Night!

“AMAZING” N8 MATTSON SAYS FAREWELL
While CLASH fans may be most familiar with Mattson’s work over the past year including his partnership with Cameron Skyy & Mena Libra, “Amazing” N8 leaves behind a storied 15 year career. “Amazing” N8 plans to address all of CLASH Wrestling one final time, live at Seize The Day V on January 21st! What does N8 have to say? What are his plans for the future? There’s only one way to find out! Join us for our first event of 2012: SEIZE THE DAY V on JANUARY 21ST!

WE’RE NOT DONE YET…ALSO FEATURING:
We’ve got other talent in the house such as Mena Libra, William J. O’Malley, Mason Conrad, Austin Manix & more!

We hope to see you this weekend as we kickstart 2012 with a bang! Big thanks to your continued support.

What a year for CLASH Wrestling, huh? From a company standpoint, CLASH Wrestling saw some of the biggest crowds walk through our doors in 2011 than in any year showing proof that the CLASH revolution is growing in numbers. We presented fun times, had entertaining special guests, celebrated milestone events, and proved why CLASH is Michigan’s upgrade to your Independent Wrestling experience! Let’s take a closer look at just what 2011 brought us –

CLASH WRESTLING MVP – CLASH CHAMPIONSHIP REIGN OF GAVIN QUINN CONTINUES ON
At this point, there are no doubts that current CLASH Champion, “GQ” Gavin Quinn was an MVP player in 2011. His impressive title reign now extends over a year (longer than any other CLASH Champion) with several marquee name talent under his belt. The likes of Mena Libra, Cameron Skyy, X-Pac, Petey Williams, Jimmy Jacobs, “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo, and the Wreckingball have fallen prey to Quinn’s impeccable winning streak. Year 2012 is on its way and Gavin Quinn has possibly his most challenging bout to date as we’ll see Triple Threat action as he defends against Petey Williams and “Murderous Monk” J. Miller on January 21st, 2012!

MOTY (MATCH OF THE YEAR) CANDIDATES
Of the many entertaining attractions hosted by CLASH Wrestling in 2011, there are several MOTY candidates to speak of. Let’s bullet point them for you to recall:

- “Mad Scientist” Tommy Treznik vs. “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo (Antidote Ladder Match)
CLASH fans may recall the struggle over a super strength elixir concocted by Treznik gone wrong when Dave Manzo took a sip. At the time, “SuperMANzo” as some were calling him experienced super natural strength during in-ring competition that concluded at Seize The Day IV on 1/29/11. Treznik ascended a ladder claiming an antidote thus forcing Manzo back to normal strength.

- “GQ” Gavin Quinn (c) vs. Petey Williams (Non-Title)
On February 26, 2011, CLASH Wrestling’s new concept event, Contenders Cup saw an opening match that may claim #1 of the MOTY list. In non-title competition, Gavin Quinn managed to defeat Petey Williams via pinfall in the first of their two bouts that year.

- Cameron Skyy vs. Dave Manzo vs. Mena Libra vs. Sharkboy vs. Tommy Treznik vs. Tyler Elkins
As part of the “Contenders Cup” event, the point was to crown a #1 contender with six of CLASH Wrestling’s biggest household names. At the time tension was reaching a boiling point between Skyy and Elkins meanwhile Treznik and Manzo had just had an epic ladder match the month before. It was “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo to walk out and challenge Quinn the following month.

- H3RD vs. Too Sweet (100)
At CLASH Wrestling’s 100th milestone event, the CLASH faithful witnessed a helluva Tag Team contest as Tommy Treznik’s H3RD w/ Ded Vaughn defended the Tag Team gold against Too Sweet (Bryce Benjamin & Joey Marx) who’ve been on a hot streak since their debut in July 2010. It was a celebratory night for those in attendance when Too Sweet claimed the victory with their 2nd title reign.

- Gavin Quinn (c) vs. Petey Williams (100)
Another classic encounter, this time with the gold on the line in front of CLASH Wrestling’s biggest attendance of the year. The 100th milestone event featured a superb main event as Quinn once again retained but brought about the surprising return of J.Miller to silence the champ with a “Goodbye Tooth” kick to cap off the show.

- “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy vs. “Caveman” Tyler Elkins (Cage Match)
Your classic good friends now bitter enemies story; this odd friendship pairing of the Vegas Man and Caveman fell apart the close of 2010 when Elkins cost Skyy the championship Quinn now holds. A back-n-forth feud that lasted nearly a year concluded in a victory for the “Caveman” in CLASH Wrestling’s first ever Steel Cage encounter on 9/3/11.

- Petey Williams vs. J.Miller
Most certainly, this match was a proving ground that J.Miller hadn’t lost a step since returning from a severe leg injury. Petey Williams took the win on 10/22/11 over the “Murderous Monk” with interference by Gavin Quinn. However, this match got us one inch closer to the reason we’ll see these three tango at SEIZE THE DAY V on January 21st, 2012!

MARQUEE MOMENTS
Not only did CLASH showcase some memorable bouts, but even a ton of marquee moments that won’t go forgotten. From start to end, here were some of CLASH Wrestling’s biggest moments:
1. Mena Libra finally defeats CEO Truth Martini in a singles match that culminated a year long rivalry at Seize The Day IV.
2. Impressive debuts of mainstays “Amazing” N8 Mattson and VH1’s Jenny (Rock of Love).
3. Wreckingball is terminated from his CLASH contract only to continue purchasing a ticket as a fan catapulting him to an overwhelming popularity. Lead to an “All Out War” rumble win, a championship match, and now an non-sanctioned bout at Seize The Day V.
4. CLASH hits its milestone 100th event this past August drawing 850+ in attendance.
5. J. Miller returns from a year-long injury.
6. Dragon Kreed changes his name to Dragon Greed, now with new found power from CEO Truth Martini.
7. CLASH Wrestling’s first ever Steel Cage match Is contested between Cameron Skyy & “Caveman” Tyler Elkins.
8. CLASH introduces a new concept match entitled the “Eliminator Series” giving us the outcome of J. Miller vs. Petey Williams vs. Gavin Quinn (c) for Seize The Day V.
We’re sure you can think of many more that we may have left out!

TAG TEAM EXPANSION
Over the course of the year, CLASH Wrestling has begun reintroducing Tag Team competition as a focal point again. Many can recall past battles between teams such as “The Friends” and a version of “H3RD.” In 2011, CLASH has reinforced the division with a breath of fresh air with teams that included: Too Sweet (c), Bump N’ Uglies, Victorious Secret, The Painkillers, H3RD, and Cameron Skyy & “Amazing” N8 Mattson. 2012 brings us a new year and new competition that will flood the CLASH gates, be prepared for some of the best Tag Team wrestling in the state!

SPECIAL GUESTS
CLASH works hard in bringing you a unique collection of entertaining personalities from wrestling’s past, present and future. Throughout 2011, CLASH fans saw names synonymous to wrestling from television appear such as X-Pac, Shark Boy, VH1’s Jenny (Rock Of Love 3), Simon Dean, Jimmy Wang Yang, Rhyno, & Kevin Thorn. Who knows what 2012 brings us, but we can assure you this ride is going to get bigger and better!

It’s always tough to wrap up a year in one article as there are many moments we may have missed touching on. However, we’d like to end this with a big THANK YOU to everyone that has supported CLASH. We promise to continue to upgrade the Michigan Independent Wrestling experience year after year!

CLASH CHAMPIONSHIP TRIANGLE – GAVIN QUINN (c) vs. PETEY WILLIAMS vs. J.MILLER
No doubts, Gavin Quinn is the longest reigning CLASH Champion in the history of CLASH Wrestling. He is arguably one of the best in win/loss percentage as his winning streak has been nearly impeccable since separating from Tag Team competition with Rave Killbourn in February 2010. The longest lingering question since Quinn’s title win in November 2010 was and still is – Who can pin Quinn? He stands victorious above competitors such as: Cameron Skyy, X-Pac, Mena Libra, Dave Manzo, Petey Williams, Zach Gowen, Wreckingball and then some.

Insert returning champion “Murderous Monk” J.Miller and Gavin Quinn’s toughest challenge “Maple Leaf Muscle” Petey Williams. Put them together for the main event of SEIZE THE DAY V – you now have yourself a potential match of the year, and a lesser probability of Gavin Quinn’s retention of the gold. What’s more intriguing is how involved all three of these competitors are with one another:

In February, Quinn managed to outlast Petey Williams; once again Williams suffered defeat to Quinn in August. This brought upon J.Miller’s return from injury at 100 on 8/6, as he silenced Quinn with a “Goodbye Tooth” kick. Vengeance was had the following month at ALL OUT WAR! When Quinn rushed the ring and eliminated Miller from the battle royal meant to crown contendership. October brought around similar back-n-forth as Miller succumbed to Petey Williams with the aid of Quinn. Thus, bringing us to present day; the finals of the DIVIDED WE FALL Eliminator Series came down to the three of them. Quinn suffered to defeat via knockout to co-winners Petey Williams and J.Miller giving us this Triple Threat treat at SEIZE THE DAY V!

CAVEMAN TRIES TO HAVE WRECKINGBALL OUSTED
For “Caveman” Tyler Elkins, knowing that Randal Casey (aka The Wreckingball) is no longer allowed to compete for CLASH Wrestling is simply not good enough. From Ball’s standpoint, he’s swallowed a lot of pride simply attending the live events knowing that he is no longer able to perform. With the CEO Truth Martini’s responsibilities ever-growing; much of his “CEO power” has been bestowed upon his assistant Dragon Greed. On DIVIDED WE FALL, Elkins had convinced Greed to have Casey removed from the building. However, it was in the main event where we saw CLASH mascot “Artie The Wolf” slide in the ring while the referee was distracted; turning out to be the Wreckingball in disguise and aiding in Elkins’ elimination from the “Eliminator Series” main event. We know Elkins wants Casey in the ring but at this point in time, it will not take place in a CLASH ring with a non-contracted competitor.

SWAGG WON THE BATTLE, BUT NOT THE WAR
In the ongoing back and forth between Dragon Greed and “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo stemming from August 6th at 100 when Greed became Truth Martini’s assistant and powerbombed Manzo; they met one on one at DIVIDED WE FALL! Dave Manzo was able to secure the victory to advance in the Eliminator Series however it was Greed that hit Manzo with a devastating clothesline behind the referee’s back causing his elimination. We know Manzo was enraged in the back, so a rematch between these two sounds pretty well scouted. Only time will tell as we head into SEIZE THE DAY V on January 21st!

“AMAZING ACES” NOT SO AMAZING AFTER ALL
Individually, “Amazing” N8 Mattson and “Ace High” Cameron Skyy are two very talented competitors in CLASH Wrestling. N8 Mattson comes from a 15 year background in the business while Cameron Skyy has also made his name surface on multiple radars over his near 5 year term. However, sometimes too many chefs spoil the soup! Mattson has encouraged Skyy of late to re-focus at the title picture and has lent him tips as a mentor would to a student. However, with Skyy’s brash attitude being a former CLASH Champion, he has attempted to heed advice but has stressed he’s his own man. Collaboratively, they’ve suffered a series of losses and the frustration is evident. What looked like it would get physical between the two following their loss at DIVIDED WE FALL; we can note that they haven’t spoken to one another since the event. Where does that leave them for SEIZE THE DAY V? Well, those details are still forthcoming.

That’s it for now, keep your eyes peeled to CLASHWRESTLING.COM has we’ve got tons of updates to push your way including blogs from the competitors involved in SEIZE THE DAY V, stay tuned!

We’ve got a ton to cover from the fall out of CLASH FROM THE CRYPT on 10/22 and a ton to look forward to at our 2011 Season Finale on November 19th – DIVIDED WE FALL! Let’s first get you the details to our next & last extravaganza for this year –

CLASH WRESTLING – DIVIDED WE FALL (2011 Season Finale)

AND STILL…QUINN CANNOT BE PINNED – WRECKINGBALL REMAINS UNEMPLOYED
In what was such an emotional bout at CLASH FROM THE CRYPT; it was more than gold on the line for one man, it was a job and the opportunity to re-establish himself in an industry he loves most – performing as a Professional Wrestler for CLASH Wrestling. Over the last few months since Wreckingball was terminated by CEO Truth Martini; he has paid the admission price to support the CLASH product. In what was a chance of a lifetime; winning ALL OUT WAR gave Wreckingball the opportunity to challenge CLASH Champion “GQ” Gavin Quinn for the gold. However, by winning the gold would mean you’re an active competitor on the CLASH roster which was bigger than anything for the Wreckingball. If this already wasn’t making Wreckingball sweat bullets, add the fact that Gavin Quinn has remained undefeated for well over a year and CEO Truth Martini modified this contest to be no disqualification.

After countless run-ins by various CLASH competitors (some in support of Wreckingball; others in support of Quinn), the final result was Gavin Quinn once again standing victorious. What’s next for the Wreckingball now? Will he swallow his pride and continue to attend our CLASH extravganzas? We’ll see at our season finale on November 19th!

CAMERON AND N8 CAN’T COMMUNICATE
In this ongoing story of mentor and pupil; we’ve watched on as seasoned veteran “Amazing” N8 Mattson has attempted to assist “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy in his CLASH Wrestling endeavors. Cameron Skyy in his own right is a former CLASH Champion and has been brash to heed any advice from Mattson. We watched the finish unfold in six man tag team action on October 22nd when Skyy requested to be tagged back in leading to a distracted Mattson suffering defeat via pinfall. Post match saw Skyy venting frustration toward his so called mentor; will the two collaborate again on November 19th? Join us and find out!

CAVEMAN STARTS A RUCKUS WITH WRECKINGBALL
Prior to the fate of the Wreckingball being decided in our main event on October 22nd, the “Caveman” Tyler Elkins made his way out for a handicapped attraction. Elkins, being on a hot streak since his Cage Match victory in September, chose to heckle the Wreckingball so much that the two were separated by security from the audience following Elkins’ victory. Elkins also was a key factor in the main event decision as he was one of the last run-in interferences to aid Quinn to victory. The Caveman obviously out to prove a point and we’re certain that gold is on the mind after a series of victories. We can confirm that he is one of the 20 competitors entered in the “Eliminator Series” on November 19th, but remember, CLASH cannot stop the Wreckingball from paying the admission price and sitting at ringside.

J. MILLER…HE’S BACK AND HE’S…QUIET
“Murderous Monk” J. Miller returned to singles action on October 22nd against Petey Williams. Although he suffered defeat by the aid of “GQ” Gavin Quinn (c), his ability in the ring had not lost a beat. However, his vocal cords have… J.Miller upon his return has taken a vow of silence as evident in one of the most recent interviews uploaded to our CLASH Wrestling Youtube channel. His actions speak louder than words as it’s apparent he’s underneath the skin of Quinn who’s still upset of his victory celebration being interrupted at “100” on August 6th. Although it is the goal of Miller and other CLASH athletes to challenge Quinn for the gold; that spot must be earned. J. Miller will be featured in the DIVIDED WE FALL “Eliminator Series” on November 19th; in what type of match exactly, well that’s still to be announced.

CLASH WRESTLING’S TAG DIVISION – SUPERCHARGED!
CLASH Wrestling has always been proud of its presentation of Tag Team competition. Although the travel issues held CLASH Tag Champions Too Sweet (c) up at CLASH FROM THE CRYPT, they will be on hand for our Season Finale on November 19th and in tag action! Never before in CLASH history has there been such a wide variety of unique teams ranging from The Painkillers, H3RD, Sons Of Sanity, “Amazing” N8 & Cameron Skyy etc! Which team is their next challenge? Stay tuned to CLASHWRESTLING.COM for details!

Thanks for reading this week’s news flash! Be sure to grab your tickets to DIVIDED WE FALL now as their flyin’ off our cyber shelves for discounts at CLASHWRESTLING.COM!

CLASH News Flash For October 7th, 2011: Hey all, dropping by to review the huge line-up that has finally been announced in full for October 22nd at CLASH FROM THE CRYPT! We’ve been waiting anxiously for the event as we’re excited to invite you along to this new and what we feel will be the most exciting Halloween Spooktacular yet! We know you want to go, so here’s the info you absolutely need:

Big League Brews and Warriors 3 Comics & Games present

CLASH WRESTLING: CLASH FROM THE CRYPT
Saturday, October 22nd 2011

GAVIN QUINN (c) VS. WRECKINGBALL (DO OR DIE)
This one as it’s labeled is really “do or die” for the Wreckingball (well, not literally). Wreckingball has been on the unemployment line since April by word of CEO Truth Martini with is “spring cleaning.” Meanwhile, the Wreckingball has continually paid the $12 admission price to sit in attendance to watch the show he once was a part of. His passion and desire for the business of professional wrestling is evident by such; additionally how awkward must it be for him to be terminated from his employer but still support the product he loves each and every month? Well, the golden opportunity of a lifetime was given at ALL OUT WAR! on 9/3 when three former CLASH employees were allowed to return for one night only. Wreckingball took this opportunity and ran with it by achieving victory and #1 contendership to the gold that sits on Gavin Quinn’s waist.

So here we are, the currently unemployed Wreckingball is #1 contender to challenge Gavin Quinn for the gold. Never before in CLASH history has a non-contracted athlete been in such a position. Can the Wreckingball break Gavin Quinn’s incredible 11 month reign as champion? Or will the Wreckingball be another stepping stone in Quinn’s legacy, thus sending his challenger back to unemployment and abolished as a CLASH athlete? Be there, no matter what on October 22nd for the result!

NPCI TAG TOURNAMENT RETURNS – CLASH VS. CHIKARA
Not only are we amped up that this event is going to be a super duper fun Halloween themed extravaganza, but to host the NPCI Tag Team Tournament and CLASH vs. CHIKARA all in one?! Wow, we’re giving it all to you in ONE MEGA EVENT! Michigan’s biggest Tag Team Tournament – the NPCI; showcasing some of the best Tag Teams from around the globe with the winner awarded the prestige, another building block to add to their accolades, and a springboard to title contention.

1) Too Sweet (c) vs. The Batiri – These two teams already have history backing it stemming from CLASH vs. CHIKARA in March this year. Bryce Benjamin of Too Sweet suffered defeat in six man tag action, however round 2 has more riding on it. The win here will advance to the NPCI finals for a chance to earn the prestige of a tournament win solidifying one’s Tag Team supremacy.

2) “Amazing” N8 Mattson & “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy vs. Sons Of Sanity – William J. O’Malley & Gideon Malice of Sons Of Sanity continue to spread their righteous message and by gaining a win in the NPCI, might turn some more ears. However, the hurdle is seasoned veteran N8 Mattson and former CLASH Champion Cameron Skyy. Mattson of late has offered Skyy advice as a mentor would to his protégé, but will the brash “Ace High” head the advice and form a cohesive unit? Find out on October 22nd!

3) The Colony vs. The Painkillers – Green Ant & Fire Ant of The Colony are on a red hot streak after winning CHIKARA’s King Of Trios event this year. However, their opposition being the former H3RD members, Donnie & Jacob Hallows of The Painkillers are no team to dismiss. For an odd reason yet to be explained, they were casted away from Tommy Treznik’s H3RD concoction; was it because they were too crazy & psychotic to be involved? That question may never be answered, but nonetheless will have a victor in a bout that looks to be crazy and fun!

4) H3RD vs. TD & “Mr. 450” Hammett – The “Mad Scientist” Tommy Treznik is no stranger to Tag Team success. Treznik has managed to win gold with multiple variations of both the H3RD and other Tag Team headers. In fact, Treznik has been in the finals of every NPCI Tag Tournament to date. Given his current formula of H3RD including the monster Ded Vaughn; a team such as TD & “Mr. 450” Hammett have got to be intimidated. However don’t discount them, “Mr. 450” has had much singles success holding gold in several territories in the Chicago region. Hammett putting that success together with upcoming talent, TD may prove to be a perfect gelled unit going into NPCI on October 22nd!

Non Tournament – J. Miller vs. Ophidian (CLASH vs. CHIKARA) – Does it need additional explanation? J.Miller injured Ophidian in the 2009 NPCI Tag Tournament; Miller then sustained a shelving injury of his own with a broken leg. The two athletes are back at 100% and prepare to duel, both representing their own respective promotion. With this potential show stealer on the card, is there any other reasons needed to join us at CLASH FROM THE CRYPT? Well, we don’t think so, but there is MORE!

KEVIN THORN DEBUTS IN SIX PERSON TAG ACTION
Some more Tag Team excitement to bring your way, and what perfect timing for Former WWE Star Kevin Thorn to debut on our Halloween Spooktacular event! He’ll be joined alongside Mena Libra and “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo taking on Austin Manix, “American Nightmare” Hakim Zane, & Dragon Greed w/ CEO Truth Martini.

WHAT IS CAVEMAN’S NEXT OBSTACLE?
The “Caveman” Tyler Elkins will be strutting in praise on October 22nd coming off his HUGE victory in the Steel Cage last month against Cameron Skyy. What is his next pursuit? Well, we know that Mason Conrad of Victorious Secret has opted to step outside of normal Tag Team routine to make his singles debut in attempt to make his mark. A victory over Elkins would certainly get people talking so he may have chosen the best time to capitalize. Witness it LIVE in Taylor on 10/22!

That’s it for now, keep your eyes peeled to CLASHWRESTLING.COM has we’ve got tons of updates to push your way including blogs from the competitors involved in CLASH FROM THE CRYPT, stay tuned!

CLASH News Flash For September 8, 2011: What a whirlwind of events that transpired from CLASH Wrestling’s “All Out War!” on 9/3! From a brutal cage match, to the crowning of a new #1 contender; needless to say we’ve got a ton to talk about. Before we do, let’s get you the details on our next big event coming your way –

Upcoming Event:
CLASH WRESTLING: CLASH FROM THE CRYPT
October 22, 2011

All Ages: $12 General, Discounts available online

FROM UNEMPLOYED TO #1 CONTENDER: WRECKINGBALL WINS THE WAR!
The Wreckingball wins the war…All Out War that is! Still, a man who was sent to the unemployment line back in April by the CEO Truth Martini; a man who has purchased a ticket each month since as a supporter of CLASH Wrestling; was finally a man who received a golden ticket entry to “All Out War!” Who would’ve thought? The weeks leading in, members of the CLASH faithful had been submitting their responses via various social networking sites that CLASH is affiliated with and none saw The Wreckingball as a golden ticket entry, let alone securing the win and #1 contendership!

What does all of this mean? Is the Wreckingball back with CLASH Wrestling? Well, that’s the curveball because news of this has reached the desk of CEO Truth Martini and his words were very short, but simply put: “NO, Wreckingball is no longer part of the active roster.” So, we have a very precarious situation where the Wreckingball will be signed to compete against reigning CLASH Champion, “GQ” Gavin Quinn in which will truly be a golden opportunity of a lifetime! WHAT IF Wreckingball can overcome Quinn’s 10 month reign? WHAT IF Wreckingball becomes CLASH Champion? Will he be given his employment application to continue to perform? These are questions waiting to be answered upon the result of Gavin Quinn vs. The Wreckingball on October 22nd.

CAVEMAN EXTINGUISHES THE SIN CITY SPARK
It’s been a roller coaster ride but on September 3rd, that ride came to a halt after a grueling Steel Cage match between “Caveman” Tyler Elkins and “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy. The conclusion saw the “Caveman” neanderclaw his way out the cage door leaving Skyy unconscious. We saw Skyy’s mentor as of late, “Amazing” N8 Mattson aid him to the back after the contest; what’s next for both competitors remains to be seen.

“WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ABOUT J. MILLER? NOTHING” – GAVIN QUINN
Following another victory over Zach Gowen in “GQ” Gavin Quinn’s hot streak as CLASH Champion; Quinn grabbed a microphone to address “Murderous Monk” J. Miller’s return at “100” on 8/6. To paraphrase, Quinn mentioned that the list of names he has defeated including the likes of Cameron Skyy, X-Pac, Petey Williams, Jimmy Jacobs, Zach Gowen etc; J. Miller was not on his level and thus he would do nothing about the “Goodbye Tooth” kick he received from J. Miller on 8/6.

However what Gavin says, isn’t always what Gavin does… During the “All Out War!” contest, J. Miller had rid the ring of Ded Vaughn (who had eliminated the most competitors in the match) only to have Gavin Quinn slide in unexpectedly and toss Miller over the top rope, eliminating him. Quinn then walked to the back with a grin on his face as he returned the favor from receipt of the kick by removing Miller from title contention. Rumor has it that J. Miller has taken an vow of silence; so what will his reaction be on October 22nd?

HIS NAME IS…DRAGON GREED
The CLASH faithful has always known the former CLASH Champion as Dragon Kreed, debuting with the company in March 2008 and rising to the top by March 2009. Since aligning himself with CEO Truth Martini in order to gain employment once again and decimating “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo at “100” in the process, Dragon Kreed denounced his name at “All Out War!” requesting to be now known as “Dragon Greed” in reference to his deep pockets and lifestyle of excess.

One should know that in the world of Professional Wrestling, if you do unto others, they will do unto you… Dragon Greed, if you will, received a bit of payback by the “Swagg Starr” as Manzo’s music interruption was enough time to distract Greed from winning the opening Fray match to “All Out War!” However Greed later eliminated Manzo in the contest. What’s next in the rivalry between the two? We shall find out LIVE at CLASH From The Crypt.

In Other News

TAG TEAMS SHOWCASED AT CLASH FROM THE CRYPT
Details at this time are sketchy, but we’ve received word from higher ups that there will be a special showcase of Tag Team action at this year’s CLASH FROM THE CRYPT with a revival of a tournament. The teams involved and specifics are still forthcoming, stay tuned!

That’s all for now, keep your eyes peeled to CLASHWRESTLING.COM for the latest developments on our Halloween Extravaganza headed your way on October 22nd!

CAN QUINN BE PINNED? J. MILLER RETURNS WITH AN ANSWER
Once again, current CLASH Champion “GQ” Gavin Quinn proved to outlast “Maple Leaf Muscle” Petey Williams in a stellar main event attraction this past Saturday Night. The match itself, easily a top MOTY (Match Of The Year) candidate, was a perfect example of the caliber of professional wrestling one can expect at a CLASH Wrestling live event! As Quinn stood victorious, beginning to embark on a now 9 month title reign, he noted that there was nobody left for him to prove himself to until an unexpected surprise walked out… former CLASH Champion, J. Miller! The “Murderous Monk” made his way to the ring and silenced the CLASH Champion with his trademark “Goodbye Tooth” signature kick and covered Quinn while the fans in attendance shouted 1-2-3, signifying victory! What will Quinn have to say about this? Can J. Miller be the one to pin Quinn? This question is now a lingering inquiry that should have more light shed on it at ALL OUT WAR on September 3rd!

NEW CLASH TAG TEAM CHAMPS ARE TOOOOO SWEEEEET!
Ok, so we went overboard on the excessive “O’s” and “E’s” on Too Sweet, but nevertheless Bryce Benjamin & Joey Marx achieved Tag Team success by reclaiming the CLASH Tag Team Gold from The H3RD (“Mad Scientist” Tommy Treznik & Ded Vaughn) at 100. The win appeared a bit jaded as after the referee was inadvertently knocked down, Treznik grabbed the title for offensive use but ended up accidentally blasting Ded in the skull with the belt, thus aiding Too Sweet in their victory. If you recall, The H3RD’s initial win over Too Sweet was also jaded after being added last minute to a Gauntlet Match by Truth Martini at Age Of Allegiance in April. It would appear we haven’t seen the last of these two teams in action with one another.

Either way, the victory was not only satisfying to Bryce & Joey giving them a 2nd run with the belts, but the attendees lit up as they rushed the ring in celebration! The H3RD are guaranteed a return match against Too Sweet, however on September 3rd, Bryce & Joey will be showcased in Non Title Tag Team action against former members of The H3RD, The Painkillers.

ALL OUT WAR IN A CAGE
At CLASH Wrestling’s 100th, we learned in Jenny’s “Ring Of Love” that the contract signing between former friends “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy & “Caveman” Tyler Elkins would take place in the first ever Cage Match in CLASH Wrestling on September 3rd! Skyy & Elkins have been at each other’s throats since Elkins turned his back on Skyy, costing him the CLASH Championship that kickstarted Gavin Quinn’s reign. The two will finally meet for their final encounter in an “Escape-Only” Cage Match; but before the two made the signing iron clad, Elkins requested his signature be etched in stone, literally. This was only a diversion as Elkins used the stone tablet to jab Skyy in the abdomen before his match, then signing the agreement barring any physical contact with one another until ALL OUT WAR.

Skyy still gained a victory against Shark Boy and returned the favor on Elkins later that evening in his bout against Rhyno. Before, Elkins could sink in the “Neander-Claw,” Skyy appeared on the Clashotron distracting the Caveman allowing Rhyno to get the Gore for the win! A feud over a year in the making, who will walk out victorious; will it be a celebration of the stone age, or a jackpot win to the sinful delight? Find out on September 3rd!

CEO TRUTH MARTINI HIRES HELP
Following “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo’s victory over “American Nightmare” Hakim Zane, the CEO Truth Martini made his way to the ring. During this interruption of Manzo’s victory, Martini laid out that he needed an accomplice as his responsibilities as CLASH CEO are ever growing due to CLASH Wrestling’s rapid expansion. Before Manzo could answer the request, the recently fired Dragon Kreed (who had purchased a ringside seat with the also fired Wreckingball) jumped into the ring and urged Manzo not to take the job. Seconds later, Kreed attacked Manzo and pleaded with the CLASH CEO to hire him back and make Kreed his accomplice. Martini agreed to rehire Kreed, but as of this writing Wreckingball is still unemployed from CLASH Wrestling.
