Updates: CHIKARA Tomorrow, NPCI Night #2 Match Signed!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that CHIKARA is making it’s Michigan debut tomorrow night at the Taylortown Trade Center for “We Must Eat Michigan’s Brains.” It was announced last week that next Saturday’s show will mark the independent return of “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson! Remember, CLASH Wrestling will be on hand and we’re well represented! We’ve been given the opening contest to show our stuff and we provided a match that will prove to be action packed & hard hitting when “Ace High” Cameron Skyy teams with CLASH Champion J. Miller to take on Tommy Treznik & GQ! Show your support not only for CLASH Wrestling, but our friends at CHIKARA as well. Join us tomorrow night!
Earlier this week the final 2 NPCI teams were announced, thus the entire field of 16 is now known. For a full listing of NPCI Tag Teams, please visit the NPCI minisite by clicking here. Night #2 of the NPCI Tournament will feature a number of non-tournament matches. Thusfar, we know of Cameron Skyy vs. J. Miller in a CHIKARA Young Lions Cup Qualifier and the Special Attraction Women’s Match pitting ROH & SHIMMER star Nevaeh against our own Mena Libra. A third non-tournament match has been added and it may prove to be the most action packed of them all! On Saturday, July 17th, 6 men will enter and only 1 can walk away victorious when CLASH competitors Dragon Kreed, Rave Killbourn, & Austin Manix meet up against midwest Tag Team sensations Dave & Jake Crist of the Irish Airborne & CHIKARA’s Dasher Hatfield in a 6 Pack Challenge Match! It’s every man for himself! Which one of these men will walk out on top? Join us at the 2010 NPCI Tournament to find out!
With all the NPCI tag teams & Night #2 Attraction bouts announced, we will now begin to announce Opening Round matches for the NPCI tournament over the course of the next two weeks! Every Tuesday & Friday we will announce 2 Opening Round matches, exclusively here on CLASHWRESTLING.COM. So stay tuned & remember to check back here this coming Tuesday when the first 2 NPCI opening round matches are announced!

CLASH Wrestling’s NPCI is the biggest Tag Team Tournament in the state of Michigan. Over the course of one weekend (Friday & Saturday, July 16th & 17th), 16 teams from around the globe come together to compete for tag team supremacy! Today we announced the final 2 teams who will compete in the 2010 NPCI Tag Team Tournament! First up we have the duo representing Beyond Wrestling, Chris Dickinson & Jonny Mangue. This incredibly intense duo are on an roll in Beyond Wrestling and you can watch the road they took to qualify for the NPCI exclusively on Beyond Wrestling’s YouTube channel! Finally, taking the 16th and final spot in the 2010 NPCI Tag Team Tournament will be a “Wild Card Team,” comprised of the two men who win a Day #1 Battle Royal on Friday, July 16th. CLASH Wrestling has been contacted by singles wrestlers all across the country who wanted to take part in the 2010 NPCI. Our solution was simple, put all these men in an over the top rope battle royal, and the final two men standing on July 16th will be entered into the NPCI Tournament! Who are all these Battle Royal participants? You’ll have to join us at the NPCI to find out!
With all 16 teams announced, there still remains one more NPCI announcement that will take place this Friday morning! CLASH officials have added another special attraction match to NPCI Day #2, a bout which will feature CLASH competitors as well as independent stars. There’s tons of news to announce today here on CLASHWRESTLING.COM so let’s get right into it! Earlier this week we announced the 11th & 12th NPCI Tag Teams in the Bump N’ Uglies & Too Sweet. Bryce Benjamin & Joey Marx of Too Sweet are a high flying, fun loving duo who hope to earn the respect of the CLASH fans on NPCI weekend. The Bump N’ Uglies are a veteran duo well known to the local scene, but new to the world of CLASH Wrestling. On July 16th & 17th the Uglies will represent our friends at Metro Pro Wrestling, and attempt to bring an NPCI victory back home to Detroit city. Click here to check out Metro Pro Wrestling!
Today we have 2 more NPCI teams to announce, in addition to another special attraction match for Night #2! The long awaited announcement of Team Inter Species Wrestling has been made! Comprising this off the wall tandem from North Of The Border is ISW mainstay Twiggy and the debuting Bastion Snow! When it comes to Inter Species Wrestling, you can always expect the unexpected, time will tell if Twiggy & Snow have what it takes to win the 2010 NPCI! Team #14 are no strangers to CLASH Wrestling, as Cameron Salem & Mason Conrad of Victorious Secret make their return at the 2010 NPCI! If you remember, Victorious Secret competed at Fight Against Cancer 3 earlier this year in a losing effort against The Jawbreakers. July 16th & 17th the flamboyant duo aim to live up to their namesake and walk out the winners of the 2010 NPCI.
Finally, Night #2 of the NPCI Tournament will feature a number of non-tournament matches. Joining Cameron Skyy vs. J. This year marks the third anniversary of the event, and the 2010 NPCI is quickly shaping up to be the biggest and best yet! Today, the 11th & 12th NPCI Teams were announced on the NPCI Minisite. There’s only 4 spots left!
Expect NPCI announcements to come fast & furious these next few weeks. It is management’s intention that all NPCI Tag Teams & Non-Tournament Matches are announced no later than July 1st, thus we will be announcing AT LEAST two teams/matches every Tuesday & Friday! So, keep your eyes peeled to CLASHWRESTLING.COM in the coming days to keep abreast of all things NPCI!
