2 More NPCI Opening Round Contests Revealed!

Earlier this week we learned the first 2 Opening Round contests for the 2010 NPCI: Age Of The Fall vs. Better Halves & Inter Species Wrestling vs. Power Rangers. Today we have been informed of the next 2 Opening Round contests, and both shall prove to be action packed to say the least!
First up we have a match featuring the current CLASH Tag Team Champions Wreck N’ Roll. Their first round opposition are no strangers to tag team gold, in fact, they’ve held championships all across the midwest. On Friday, July 16th The Wreckingball & Will Vendetta will face the duo of Joseph Schwartz & Sean Tylerstein – The Kosher Klub! Can the Jewish duo be the first team to defeat the CLASH Tag Team Champions? Or will Wreck continue on their Roll?!?

Next up we have a bout featuring 2 tag teams making their CLASH debut at the 2010 NPCI. It will be the loudmouth Canadian duo of 3.0 taking on Detroit’s own Bump N’ Uglies! 3.0 are representing not only their country, but the promotion of CHIKARA as well, while the Bump N’ Uglies want to keep the NPCI throne in Detroit for Metro Pro Wrestling. Without question, these two teams have a point to prove but only 1 can walk out victorious! Join us on Friday, July 16th to find out which team will advance in the 2010 NPCI!

First 2 NPCI Opening Round Matches Announced!

We’re fresh off a huge weekend in which CHIKARA debuted in Michigan with the assistance of CLASH Wrestling. Our company was well represented on the event itself, as CLASH Champion J. Miller & “Ace High” Cameron Skyy defeated Tommy Treznik & GQ in an action packed bout that introduced a number of fans to CLASH Wrestling. With that being said, we must now move on and focus 100% on the upcoming NPCI Tag Team Tournament on July 16th & 17th! All 16 teams have been announced, as well as the 3 special attraction matches set for Night #2. What we’ve yet to learn are the Opening Round bouts set for Night #1 on Friday, July 16th!
Well, we at CLASHWRESTLING.COM have just been informed for the first 2 Opening Round matches for the 2010 NPCI! In fact, over the course of the next 2 weeks, all 8 opening round matches will be announced (2 on Tuesday, 2 on Friday)!
First up we have a match that tag team enthusiasts will be salivating over when The Age Of The Fall of Jimmy Jacobs & Zach Gowen take on the Better Halves of GQ & Tommy Treznik! No duo in the tournament have more NPCI experience than the Better Halves, yet the friendship of Jacobs & Gowen has lasted years. Which one of these two favorites are going to be eliminated on the first night?!?

This second bout seems like a match made in heaven as the beloved Power Rangers will battle Inter Species Wrestling! The Rangers have made their living battling oversized creatures and Bastion Snow shall be no exception! Can the Power Rangers 3rd NPCI attempt be the charm? Or will Twiggy & Bastion Snow find a way to defeat the Blue Ranger & the debuting master of the Tigerzord – the White Ranger!?!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that CHIKARA is making it’s Michigan debut tomorrow night at the Taylortown Trade Center for “We Must Eat Michigan’s Brains.” It was announced last week that next Saturday’s show will mark the independent return of “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson! Remember, CLASH Wrestling will be on hand and we’re well represented! We’ve been given the opening contest to show our stuff and we provided a match that will prove to be action packed & hard hitting when “Ace High” Cameron Skyy teams with CLASH Champion J. Miller to take on Tommy Treznik & GQ! Show your support not only for CLASH Wrestling, but our friends at CHIKARA as well. Join us tomorrow night!

Night #2 of the NPCI Tournament will feature a number of non-tournament matches. Thusfar, we know of Cameron Skyy vs. J. Miller in a CHIKARA Young Lions Cup Qualifier and the Special Attraction Women’s Match pitting ROH & SHIMMER star Nevaeh against our own Mena Libra. A third non-tournament match has been added and it may prove to be the most action packed of them all! On Saturday, July 17th, 6 men will enter and only 1 can walk away victorious when CLASH competitors Dragon Kreed, Rave Killbourn, & Austin Manix meet up against midwest Tag Team sensations Dave & Jake Crist of the Irish Airborne & CHIKARA’s Dasher Hatfield in a 6 Pack Challenge Match! With all the NPCI tag teams & Night #2 Attraction bouts announced, we will now begin to announce Opening Round matches for the NPCI tournament over the course of the next two weeks! CLASH Wrestling’s NPCI is the biggest Tag Team Tournament in the state of Michigan. Over the course of one weekend (Friday & Saturday, July 16th & 17th), 16 teams from around the globe come together to compete for tag team supremacy! Today we announced the final 2 teams who will compete in the 2010 NPCI Tag Team Tournament! First up we have the duo representing Beyond Wrestling, Chris Dickinson & Jonny Mangue. This incredibly intense duo are on an roll in Beyond Wrestling and you can watch the road they took to qualify for the NPCI exclusively on Beyond Wrestling’s YouTube channel! Finally, taking the 16th and final spot in the 2010 NPCI Tag Team Tournament will be a “Wild Card Team,” comprised of the two men who win a Day #1 Battle Royal on Friday, July 16th. CLASH Wrestling has been contacted by singles wrestlers all across the country who wanted to take part in the 2010 NPCI. Our solution was simple, put all these men in an over the top rope battle royal, and the final two men standing on July 16th will be entered into the NPCI Tournament! Who are all these Battle Royal participants? You’ll have to join us at the NPCI to find out!
With all 16 teams announced, there still remains one more NPCI announcement that will take place this Friday morning! CLASH officials have added another special attraction match to NPCI Day #2, a bout which will feature CLASH competitors as well as independent stars. So keep your eyes peeled to CLASHWRESTLING.COM this Friday morning as we announce this NPCI Day#2 blockbuster!
