- Due to travel issues, The Jawbreakers of Danny Danger & Josh Thor have been forced to relinquish their spot in the tournament. Taking their place is the duo of Jacob & Donnie Hallows, collectively known as The Hallowed Souls. The Souls, who were originally scheduled for Night #1’s “Wild Card” Battle Royal, now have a guaranteed spot in the opening round of the NPCI.

- Speaking of Night #1’s “Wild Card” Battle Royal, CLASH Management has decided to cancel the bout and instead randomly select the two men who will make up the 16th & final NPCI Tag Team. The “Wild Card” team will be announced, exclusively on CLASH Wrestling’s official Twitter page tonight, Thursday July 15th @ 10 PM!

- Furthermore, it was CLASH management’s decision to put the two latest NPCI additions against each other, so tomorrow night, it’s Hallowed Souls vs. Wild Card Team! Another change to opening round lineup is Hybrid Wrestling vs. Aeroform. The full opening round lineup is as follows:

The final opening round contest is actually still half a mystery. We know on one side of the ring will be Flip Kendrick & Louis Lyndon of Aeroform. Their opposition on Friday, July 16th will come in the form of the two winners of that evening’s Wild Card battle royal. Word on the street is that a number of singles wrestlers (and maybe even a tag team or two) have entered the Wild Card Battle Royal. This puts Aeroform at a disadvantage, as they are the only team in this year’s NPCI without a chance to prepare for their competition!

Night #2 of the NPCI Tournament will feature a number of non-tournament matches. Thusfar, we know of Cameron Skyy vs. J. Miller in a CHIKARA Young Lions Cup Qualifier and the Special Attraction Women’s Match pitting ROH & SHIMMER star Nevaeh against our own Mena Libra. A third non-tournament match has been added and it may prove to be the most action packed of them all! On Saturday, July 17th, 6 men will enter and only 1 can walk away victorious when CLASH competitors Dragon Kreed, Rave Killbourn, & Austin Manix meet up against midwest Tag Team sensations Dave & Jake Crist of the Irish Airborne & CHIKARA’s Dasher Hatfield in a 6 Pack Challenge Match! With all the NPCI tag teams & Night #2 Attraction bouts announced, we will now begin to announce Opening Round matches for the NPCI tournament over the course of the next two weeks! Finally, taking the 16th and final spot in the 2010 NPCI Tag Team Tournament will be a “Wild Card Team,” comprised of the two men who win a Day #1 Battle Royal on Friday, July 16th. CLASH Wrestling has been contacted by singles wrestlers all across the country who wanted to take part in the 2010 NPCI. Our solution was simple, put all these men in an over the top rope battle royal, and the final two men standing on July 16th will be entered into the NPCI Tournament!
