CLASH News Flash For August 26, 2009: CLASH Wrestling is hot off a huge weekend from Mt Clemens, Michigan at Gibraltar Trade Center! JANNETTY ROCKED THE HOUSE, BUT SKYY STOLE THE WIN
This past weekend, the CLASH faithful was treated to the return of “The Rocker” MARTY JANNETTY as he tagged with WILL VENDETTA to take on his rival TYLER ELKINS and new found friend “Ace High” CAMERON SKYY. After a 5 month hiatus from CLASH Wrestling, JANNETTY seemed to be on fire, however as the referee was distracted by VENDETTA & ELKINS’ brawl on the outside, SKYY secured the win with small package after delivering a low blow. With a huge win for SKYY & ELKINS, this begs the question if SKYY will use the Consolation Prize he owns anytime soon for a Tag Title shot or for his personal use of a World Title match.

In related news, WILL VENDETTA and TYLER ELKINS will battle it out at WORKING FOR THE WEEKEND on 9/4 in a Falls Count Anywhere Match! In addition, the “Ace High” CAMERON SKYY will take on the newcomer AUSTIN MANIX in singles action!

CROWNING OF A WORLD CHAMPION & TAG TITLES ON THE LINE ON 9/4
Since DRAGON KREED’s injury on 6/6/09, CLASH Wrestling has been without a World Champion. Currently, TOMMY TYDIE and J. MILLER (collectively known as H3RD) are the #1 contenders for the title. They have tried battling for the gold in July, however an interference by NIGHT-LIFE postponed CLASH from having a champion. It will now culminate on 9/4/09 in Taylor, MI as TYDIE and MILLER will clash for the gold to finally crown an undisputed CLASH Champion!
Also, on the same night the CLASH Tag Team gold will be up for grabs as NIGHT-LIFE (DAVE MANZO & JACK NIGHT w/ B) will be taking current champs THE FRIENDS (GQ & RAVE K)! NIGHT-LIFE has truly proven to be a dominant force in the tag team division last defeating H3RD at Fandemonium. Can the THE FRIENDS carry their incredible reign as champion beyond 9/4? We’ll find out at TaylorTown Trade Center in less than 2 weeks!

WHEREABOUTS OF KHAMELEON?
It’s known that the “Resident Reptile” KHAMELEON hails from Parts Unknown and that’s exactly where he must be. It is interesting to note that KHAMELEON has not been booked on a CLASH live event in over 1 month. More on this story as it develops.

HE CAME, HE SAW, HE PARTIED
After festivities concluded at Gibraltar Trade Center, Marty Jannetty came out and “partied hard” with the CLASH crew. There are photos that have surfaced via MySpace images, including “The Rocker” posting a blog entry on his official myspace detailing the wild night.

COMING EVENTS
CLASH Wrestling will return to the Game On Sports Center on September 18th for “Saved By The Bell.” In addition, CLASH Wrestling will head to Dearborn & Mt Clemens Michigan once again in the coming months, stay tuned to CLASHWRESTLING.COM for more information.

* H3RD (Tommy Tydie & J. Miller) def. Beauty & The Beast (Ethan Page & Joey Kings) via pinfall.

* Steve Brown def. Michael Elgin via pinfall.

***Former CLASH Champion Dragon Kreed was interviewed by B, discussed returning in late fall/early winter and his plans until he was interrupted by Cameron Skyy.  Skyy mentioned to keep his eye on the main event as he vowed he’d put Jannetty & Vendetta on the shelf as he did Kreed.

* The Friends (GQ & Rave K) def. Night-Life (Dave Manzo & Jack Night) via disqualification when Beauty & The Beast interfered.

***Following the interference, H3RD made the save.  Jeremy Jones then announced an 8-Man Tag Team Match to take place right away.

* The Friends & H3RD def. Night-Life & Beauty & The Beast when Jack Night was pinned.

* Josh Thor def. Danny Danger via disqualification when Danger used a chair.

* “Ace High” Cameron Skyy & Tyler Elkins def. “The Rocker” Marty Jannetty & Will Vendetta when Skyy pinned Jannetty.

***Following the match, Dragon Kreed stalked Cameron Skyy back to ringside where he was then pummeled by Vendetta, Kreed, and Jannetty to end the show.

CONSOLATION PRIZE REMINDER – WORLD TITLE CONFUSION
Since CAMERON SKYY successfully pinned CREATE-A-WRESTLER on 8/8, SKYY still is the holder of what is called the Consolation Prize entitling him to use it for a Title shot to either the vacated CLASH Championship or the Tag Team Championship with a partner of his choosing.

Keep in mind, currently the #1 contenders for the CLASH Championship are the reunited H3RD Members J. MILLER & TOMMY TYDIE since their no contest draw last month when NIGHT-LIFE interfered. As soon as JEREMY JONES and the CLASH Board Of Directors can determine a suitable arrangement for the H3RD partners to either battle one another or an alternate situation, things have been put on hold.

INJURY UPDATES
CLASH Wrestling has a few injuries to report and update you on. As mentioned on the most recent edition of CLASH Radio, THE WRECKINGBALL is still out on his injured leg till the late fall. BLUE POWER RANGER with his ongoing series of injuries to his upper spine/neck area has continued to be shelved from serious injuries sustained from WRECKINGBALL in January and repeated minor injuries over the last few months making his recovery rate very slow. The Mighty Morphin’ one will still be in action from time to time to prevent being cut off the CLASH payroll with so much inactivity in the ring. CLASH empathizes with his situation and wishes BLUE the best in his long road to recovery.

“Prince Of Swag” B sustained minor injuries as a result of H3RD delivering a devastating Tidal Wave off the top rope through a table to the Night-Life manager. Aside from a concussion, and minor breathing problems throughout the week, he will not be missing any time away from the microphone.

In addition, DRAGON KREED who will be in the house on 8/22 in Mt Clemens, Michigan, is still slated for a full-time return to action in January 2010. KREED will comment on his status this Saturday at Gibraltar Trade Center.
