A tradition starting last March consisting of a Tournament of Nine qualified competitors being randomly drawn to do battle in a Triple Threat Scenario!  The winner of each of the THREE Triple Threat matches advance to a FINAL Triple Threat match for the TRIPLE CROWN CUP and a payday of $3,333.33!

At WE SHALL CLASH on 2/21, TOMMY TYDIE interrupted what was suppose to be CAMERON SKYY defending his gold against DRAGON KREED!  TYDIE informed all that the title defense would be held off until TRIPLE CROWN CUP in which TOMMY TYDIE has been inserted in it by CLASH CEO JEREMY JONES who shockingly returned since being gone since 1/10!  CAMERON SKYY vs. TOMMY TYDIE vs. DRAGON KREED is a signed deal by JEREMY JONES which will be one of the biggest Triple Threat encounters to check out on 3/7 in TAYLOR, MI!

- SIGNIFICANCE OF THE TRIPLE CROWN CUP

This year’s TRIPLE CROWN CUP 2009 marks the 1 Year Anniversary of the debut of DRAGON KREED!  KREED scored a pinfall victory against KHAMELEON on 3/22/08, will he have the same fate bringing him the gold on 3/7/09?  Also, last year’s TRIPLE CROWN CUP – TOMMY TYDIE competed in a first round Triple Threat against CAMERON SKYY & J. MILLER pinning SKYY, and going on to win the trophy!  Can he harness that momentum going into this years event to take the CLASH gold?

 RESULTS TO “WE SHALL CLASH” IN TAYLOR, MI (2/21):

** RAVE KILLBOURN kicked off the show wanting answers from fellow FRIEND – GQ ASSASSIN regarding their confrontation on 2/7’s GREAT AGGRESSION Supershow Event when they were unsuccessfull in reclaiming the CLASH Tag Gold.  GQ ASSASSIN said he owed an explanation to everyone and said he was simply “frustrated.”  He sincerely apologized but vowed that come the TRIPLE CROWN CUP on 3/7, he will go through anybody, including RAVE to get to that cup!

** Next up, TOMMY TYDIE walked out to address CAMERON SKYY regarding their confrontation from 2/7 and was very upset that SKYY would not tell TYDIE that he was the “Best Wrestler in CLASH.”  He invited the Champ out and asked him to please watch with the CLASH Faithful to show SKYY how TYDIE can get it done…

* TOMMY TYDIE def. CROSSFIRE via pinfall.  Following the match, TYDIE continued the pummeling on CROSSFIRE until SKYY made the save!

* “THE FUTUR3″ MIKE DANIELS def. KEITH CALHOUN via Countout to qualify in the TRIPLE CROWN CUP on 3/7!

** THE WRECKINGBALL addressed CLASH fans and J. MILLER as reports have made their way rumoring MILLER’s current health condition!  J. MILLER has been released from medical supervision and there has been no word given to CLASH regarding a possible return, however on 2/7 the theme of J. MILLER played during WRECKINGBALL’s match!  WRECKINGBALL reinforced his dominance putting MILLER on notice that he is not afraid to damage him further should he come back!

WILD-CARD RANDOM SIX MAN TAG PREVIEW TO TRIPLE CROWN CUP (NAMES DRAWN AT RANDOM) –

**Before the match could get under way, DAVE MANZO introduced his “Wing Man” NICK BRAXTON to the CLASH attendance.  MANZO said that although he’s qualified in the Triple Crown Cup and is scheduled in the WILD CARD SIX MAN TAG, he was going to waive his spot and give it to BRAXTON for an impressive debut and instead would take his spot in a match later on to “Re-Qualify” against KHAMELEON.  It seemingly looked as though the SWAGG STARR did not want any part of the WILD-CARD action!

* GQ ASSASSIN, WILL VENDETTA, & THE WRECKINGBALL def. NICK BRAXTON, JACK NIGHT, & RAVE KILLBOURN via pinfall.

* KHAMELEON def. “SWAGG STARR” DAVE MANZO via pinfall to qualify for the TRIPLE CROWN CUP!  MANZO will now be discarded from the TRIPLE CROWN CUP!

CLASH CHAMPIONSHIP – CAMERON SKYY (c) vs. DRAGON KREED -

* Before one of the biggest CLASH Championship bouts could get underway, TOMMY TYDIE & MIKE DANIELS (PROMINENCE) made their way out and interrupted!  TYDIE declared that this match would NOT happen tonight as there is now yet another #1 Contender – TOMMY TYDIE!  Just then TYDIE introduced the man making this possible – “CLASH CEO” JEREMY JONES returned since not being seen since 1/10/09, and informed that TYDIE vs. KREED vs. SKYY will transpire at TRIPLE CROWN CUP for the gold however he did it to make a huge main event for CLASH Fans!  Just then he summoned TYDIE & DANIELS to immediately defend their TAG TEAM Championship RIGHT AWAY against KREED & SKYY or the belts would be stripped and PROMINENCE would be fired!

* PROMINENCE (TYDIE/DANIELS) (c) def. DRAGON KREED & CAMERON SKYY via pinfall when TYDIE pinned SKYY.  SKYY nearly had the pinfall after the ref was down, as JONES made his way in bearing stripes, he refused to count the 3 for SKYY allowing TYDIE to utilize the CLASH Tag Belt as a weapon and nailing his signature PGD for the 1-2-3!

As a preview to the 2nd Annual TRIPLE CROWN CUP coming March 2009, six of the nine participants will do battle in a randomly drawn SIX MAN TAG TEAM Match!  Those participants include GQ ASSASSIN, RAVE KILLBOURN, THE WRECKINGBALL, JACK NIGHT, DAVE MANZO, & WILL VENDETTA!  The bigger story about this match-up is the multiple scenarios currently going on in each of these individuals’ CLASH Wrestling careers…

•  FRIENDS - Most recently GQ & RAVE K have not been on the same page as it resulted in GQ ASSASSIN shoving RAVE to the mat after their defeat to PROMINENCE.  CLASHWRESTLING.COM has learned that GQ will explain his actions and the future of the FRIENDS!  Keep in mind, both of these CLASH favorites are in this SIX MAN TAG and there very well could be a random drawing putting them on opposite sides…
• THE WRECKINGBALL – THE WRECKINGBALL has made a name for himself recently by sidelining the CLASH talent pool.  His count is at 2, as J. MILLER has been out of action since 1/10/09 and to accompany him is now the BLUE RANGER.  Both fell victim to THE WRECKINGBALL’s monstrous splash with their craniums wedged between two chairs!  With this man in the SIX MAN TAG and in the TRIPLE CROWN CUP, who knows who the next victim will be…
• “ROLE MODEL” JACK NIGHT – Has recently lost the CLASH Championship and has been among the turmoil for the CLASH Championship lately.  NIGHT is angry, disturbed, and disgruntled going into this huge match on Saturday, 2/21!
• WILL VENDETTA - He’s a favorite, an underdog, and is looking to rebound off a recent losing streak to THE WRECKINGBALL.  But who knows, this Green Go-Getter may end up tagging with his adversary should the random drawing place him on the same team..
• “SWAGG STARR” DAVE MANZO – Coming off a strong victory against TYLER ELKINS, DAVE MANZO looks to add more swag to his resume with a hopeful TRIPLE CROWN CUP win in March, but will he make it there after SIX MAN TAG WARFARE this SATURDAY NIGHT!

J. MILLER CLEARED TO WRESTLE?

Sidelined by THE WRECKINGBALL since 1/10/09, as reported in the last Newswire we do know that J. MILLER has checked out of medical attention, however we do not know his condition.  We have lost all contact with J. MILLER through every outlet, and are still unaware if a return date is possible with the severity of his injuries.
