CLASH Newswire For The Week Of Sept. 28th, 2008
September 29, 2008
Welcome to the CLASH Wrestling Newswire for the week of September 28th, 2008. We are just a few days removed from FANDEMONIUM in Taylor, MI, and what an exciting event it was! First and foremost we would like to thank everyone that made it out this past Saturday to make FANDEMONIUM a success! For the first time ever in CLASH Wrestling, fans controlled the MATCHES & STIPULATIONS which saw many twists and turns but ultimately concluding with an awesome night of entertainment!
We have a few news stories to cover this week, but let us once again remind our fans about this FRIDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 3rd – CLASH Wrestling vs. FOXY Boxing in a very special RATED R in RIVERVIEW, MI (18+ Only Edition). The Rack-N-Roll Nightclub will be the place to be this Friday Night for a fun and interesting night of entertainment because for the first time ever, CLASH Wrestling and FOXY Boxing collaborate under one roof in CLASH Wrestling’s only $5 value show (see Pricing Schedule on the Information Tab of CLASHWRESTLING.COM for all event pricing). On Friday, 10/3, CLASH will host yet another action packed, high-flying, in your face event, but this time in a RATED R fashion! If you’ve ever wanted to see what CLASH Wrestling is all about, now is your chance to experience the excitement of CLASH Wrestling LIVE in Riverview, MI!! We welcome all wrestling fans to come check out what CLASH Wrestling has to offer, we promise you will not be disappointed – keep in mind, this one is an 18+ only performance!
- FANDEMONIUM and all of its success is directly derived from the 5000+ votes casted on CLASHWRESTLING.COM by all our fans! For the first time in CLASH Wrestling, YOU chose how we delivered which captured memories spanning from a “Steel Chain on a Pole Match” between Kreed and Vendetta, a “Body Building Posedown” in the Colt Ryan Challenge to Keith Calhoun, and a stellar Lumberjack match in CLASH fashion between Cameron Skyy and The Wreckingball! But that wasn’t all that transpired at Fandemonium, the audience witnessed Confetti’s sacrifice as H3RD member Tommy Tydie taught his H3RD Member in Training a lesson in singles competition, a Four Corners Tag Team Elimination Match for the Tag Straps, and debut of WSX / ROH Star “MDOGG 20″ Matt Cross taking on H3RD Member J.Miller!
- One man who was not present was the #1 Contender for the CLASH Championship, “Role Model” Jack Night as he explained on 9/20 that he was sent on a paid vacation in order to rest up for this title shot at CLASH from the Crypt on 10/25. But don’t think Jack Night didn’t have his eye open on the main event CLASH Championship match as it now looks to be Cameron Skyy defending against Jack Night on 10/25 against possibly his gravest challenge yet! Keep in mind, Jack Night has an impressive winning streak in CLASH Wrestling not suffering a pinfall defeat since January of 2008. Will he be too much for Cameron Skyy; we will see this one develop over the next few weeks!
- With the Tag Team Champions GQ / RAVE K. (FRIENDS) on a hot streak of their own after claiming the Tag Titles at All Out War from H3RD on 8/30, contenders for these prestigious straps will be decided in the coming weeks – stay tuned!
- MANZO SPORTING NEW COLORS? It was quite a shock immediately following his MMA Bout with “T-Train” Tyler Elkins; Elkins extended his hand in respect. As we all awaited Manzo’s next move, Coach B scorned Manzo against shaking hands, and slapped the “All American” in the face! Manzo returned with a hard shove to Coach B and shook hands with Elkins. As the Coach and his athlete returned backstage, it was apparent that Coach B was very apologetic to Manzo vying for his attention to help ensure the duo’s healthy future. Have they worked out their differences? Perhaps we will find out in Riverview, MI THIS FRIDAY NIGHT – Stay Tuned!
- QUOTE THE RAVEN NEVERMORE – IN CLASH WRESTLING: That’s right. The man who’s done it all – Former WWE / WCW / ECW / TNA Superstar RAVEN comes to CLASH Wrestling on 11/8! His role on this date is not yet determined however, RAVEN will be holding a 2-3 hour seminar on what it takes to be in this business. This seminar will be prior to the LIVE event in TAYLOR, MI and is open for fans and wrestlers to attend! Tickets for this seminar is available by contacting CLASH Wrestling at CONTACTCLASH@GMAIL.COM and reserving your spot! RAVEN has done it all, working in every major promotion, holding a title in every major promotion and will reveal the secrets of the ring to you in this special Seminar! Contact us for more details!

MDogg20 Added & Other Changes To Fandemonium
September 25, 2008
In late breaking news, we at CLASHWRESTLING.COM can now confirm that ROH and WSX star “MDogg 20″ Matt Cross will be at Fandemonium THIS SATURDAY NIGHT!! Cross has literally wrestled all across the globe and has chosen his next stop to showcase his wrestling expertise: a CLASH ring! MDogg’s addition to the card is the mastermind of CLASH CEO Jeremy Jones, who is really taking the notion of “Fan Appreciation Month” to heart. When asked to comment, Jones had this to say:
“Matt Cross is a world-renowned athlete who has competed not only all across this country, but all across the globe. His addition to the Fandemonium card is just another reason everyone should come check out Fandemonium this weekend. Everything CLASH has to offer will be on showcase this Saturday night.”
Cross’s opponent for the evening, “The Murderous Monk” J. Miller was handpicked by Jones himself.
“Miller is widely regarded as one of the best technical wrestlers in our promotion”, Jones said. “He will match up nicely with Mr. Cross. These two men will put on a Match of the Year Candidate in my opinion.”
The addition of Matt Cross to Fandemonium does effect the previously announced card to an extent, but Jones has assured us that it’s only for the better.
“In regards to Confetti’s sacrifice, I’ve been told by Tommy Tydie that the H3RD still has something in store for Confetti on Saturday night.”
In other Fandemonium news, Jones has announced that the CLASH Tag Team Championship match will now be a Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match, spotlighting the teams of Friends, the H3RD, Steff & Khameleon, and the Power Rangers.
“My reasoning is simple. Voting has been absolutely tremendous for the Tag Team Championship Match. In fact, this match alone has literally thousands of votes cast, the most of any match at Fandemonium. Unfortunately, our servers crashed late last night and over 500 votes went unrecognized. In the interest of fairness, I’ve changed the match to a Fatal 4 Way Elimination bout, in which all 4 teams will be able to compete for the titles.”
Fandemonium is surely shaping up to be a fantastic card. In addition to Matt Cross vs. J. Miller and what is expected to be a high-flying, wild Fatal 4 Way Match for the CLASH Tag Titles, fans can still cast their vote for Cameron Skyy vs. The Wreckingball, Dragon Kreed vs. Will Vendetta, Tyler Elkins vs. Dave Manzo, and Colt Ryan’s challenge to Keith Calhoun! Join us this Saturday as we show our appreciation for YOU our fans as we present the most interactive show of the year: FANDEMONIUM!!

We have a few news stories to cover this week, but let us once again remind our fans of our Supershow Event on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th. CLASH Wrestling presents FANDEMONIUM from TAYLOR, MI at the TAYLORTOWN TRADE CENTER on 9/27/2008. On Saturday, 9/27, CLASH will host another action packed, high-flying, in your face event, but this time YOU control how we do it! If you’ve ever wanted to see what CLASH Wrestling is all about, now is your chance to experience the excitement of CLASH Wrestling LIVE in Taylor, MI!! We welcome all wrestling fans to come check out what CLASH Wrestling has to offer, we promise you will not be disappointed!
- Let’s kick things off with the victory of Dave Manzo against “Killer” Kayle in an MMA bout this past Saturday, 9/20! Fans there got to bear witness to the ring surrounded by steel fencing to give the proper atmosphere to the advertised first ever MMA Fight in CLASH Wrestling. In preparation of sorts to the proposed VOTE for FANDEMONIUM as fans will choose for 9/27 how Manzo and True MMA Champion Tyler Elkins will battle it out – MMA Fight, Home Run Derby, or a One Fall Match! Nonetheless, Manzo was able to score a TKO in the last 30 seconds of the first round proving that even he can tough it out in the MMA environment. On the other end, we saw Tyler Elkins stand tall as he defeated H3RD Member Mike Daniels via submission. What do you want to see? VOTE NOW!
- Coming off an impressive win at ALL OUT WAR on 8/30 last eliminating TNA Star SHARK BOY, “Role Model” Jack Night made his presence known this past Saturday as he warned whomever is Champion by October 17 will have to “Face it” as he claimed he would conquer the World Title scene in Rockwood, MI when he receives his shot! Later that night, which was supposed to be a one-on-one encounter between Green Ranger and Steff O’Riley; Jeremy Jones interrupted with Jack Night as the 3rd person in this triple threat elimination match. A decisive win for Jack Night before his “paid vacation from Jeremy Jones” until Oct. 3rd – in order to prepare for his world title shot on 10/17!
- Keith Calhoun voiced his opinions on the polls for FANDEMONIUM this week as he was confident in a victory at FANDEMONIUM on 9/27 as he accepts Colt Ryan’s Challenge of an Arm Wrestling Contest, Body Building Posedown, or an Obstacle Course built around the ring. Just then, Jeremy Jones made his way to the ring with Dragon Kreed as they offered the audience a taste of FANDEMONIUM right now as the fans would select the Special Guest Referee for Dragon Kreed vs. Keith Calhoun. Choices were limited to: Jeff “The Fink” Hackett (CLASH Announcer), Melanie (CLASH Camera Girl), or Jeremy Jones. Given the options, the only one with an exceptionally large number of boos was Jeremy Jones; just then Dragon conveyed that it sounded like Jeremy Jones has won this vote! Ultimately causing Calhoun to suffer a defeat to Kreed in a short period of time!
-SINK OR SWIM: That’s right, it was do or die for 2 new young stars in CLASH Wrestling as newcomer Mythril defeated J.D.K. by pinfall. CLASH welcomes Mytrhil and looks forward to seeing more from this impressive young star!
- Lastly, the match that everyone had been waiting for – the Six Man Tag between the CLASH Champions – Cameron Skyy & Friends (GQ / Rave K.) taking on The Wreckingball & H3RD (Tydie / Miller). With an awesome display of athleticism and back & forth action, the win went to Cameron Skyy & Friends as it took all three men to cover The Wreckingball for the pin! Which now leads us straight to FANDEMONIUM on 9/27 where fans will chose WHO will face the FRIENDS for the Tag Team Championship! Will it be the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, Steff O’Riley / Khameleon, or H3RD? How about the Heavyweight Championship picture as it comes down to Street Fight, Lumberjack, or First Blood? YOU are the only one whom can decide their fate – make sure to VOTE NOW and VOTE OFTEN on CLASHWRESTLING.COM!!
Quick Match Results:
-”All American” Dave Manzo def. “Killer” Kayle via TKO in the first round of an MMA bout.
- “T-Train” Tyler Elkins def. “The Futur3″ Mike Daniels via submission.
