Results & Photos From Downriver Revolution
May 28, 2008
If you ask anyone that was in attendance, mixed feelings of shocked, excited, pleased, scared, controversial, skeptic, ecstatic and many more were derived from the DOWNRIVER REVOLUTION! Beginning with unique match types such as the Home Run Derby Challenge, to cars being set on fire, the Taylor Police Dept. arriving, the epic ladder match, and of course the strange rumblings of the H3RD sound bytes that were played mid match in a couple of the contests made this show something for the record books.
What is the H3RD? Is it a man, if so, then whom? Is it an idea or a mission statement? Is it a direction, myth, or is it nothing at all? Hopefully more will be known in coming weeks what this could be all about….Stay Tuned! For now, let us focus on the fact that Downriver Revolution has come and gone, and what an event it was! Without question, Downriver Revolution will live in the CLASH history books as one of the wildest wrestling shows of 2008!

All You Need To Know About Downriver Revolution
May 22, 2008
With DOWNRIVER REVOLUTION only a few short days away, we at CLASHWRESTLING.COM thought it would be fun to discuss the history behind each match scheduled for this Saturday night. DOWNRIVER REVOLUTION is huge event for CLASH Wrestling, and the 2008 installment of this spring spectacular is shaping up to be one of the WILDEST nights in CLASH History! Nearly every match this Saturday has a unique stipulation and a different set of rules. But don’t worry, after reading “All You Need To Know About Downriver Revolution,” you’ll be more than ready to watch the mayhem unfold THIS SATURDAY NIGHT!
In addition to Downriver Revolution’s 5 HUGE Stipulation Matches, two other bouts will take place. First, in a battle between to ring veterans, KEITH CALHOUN will square off against LANCE WINSTON. In the other undercard match, you will see 6 of the fastest rising stars in all of CLASH Wrestling IN ONE MATCH!! It’s a 6 MAN TAG TEAM bout in which SKULL WILLIAMS, MIKE DANIELS, and KHAMELEON take on the imposing team of DRAGON KREED, CONFETTI, and THE WRECKINGBALL!!
HOME RUN DERBY CHALLENGE:
GQ ASSASSIN vs. “ALL-AMERICAN” DAVE MANZO w/ Coach B
In a match brewed up by the All-American and Coach B, this one is a first ever in CLASH Wrestling. In response to the vicious Street Fight between these two last month at our special “Rated R in Riverview” at the Rack N Roll on May 3rd; MANZO, whom wore a crimson mask by the end, has called for this challenge after being defeated in Riverview by the GQ ASSASSIN. Keep in mind, heat between these two stem back from March 22 when they were 2 of the 3 finalists in the Triple Crown Cup Tournament.
The concept of the HOME RUN DERBY is the two men will be linked together by chain, what some in the business refer to as a dog collar match. However, in this one, there will be bases strapped onto each top turnbuckle. The objective is simple, the first to tag all bases and home plate will have their hand raised in victory by the umpire!
HAIR vs. HAIR:
STEFF “THE REFF” O’RILEY vs. JEREMY JONES
The heat between these two has been intense for several months. However, JEREMY JONES has used the brute forces of JOSEPH T. STORM (JTS) and newcomer THE WRECKINGBALL to inflict pain on anyone he sees fit. Lately, that man whom has endured the punishment has been STEFF O’RILEY. For those keeping track, STEFF O’RILEY is the only competitor in CLASH who has yet obtained a victory. Some say that STEFF will have the edge tonight as JONES is most commonly a manager, however more than just a victory is at stake. Will it be STEFF’s long locks to be shaved bald, or is JEREMY JONES that will be looking for a new doo? We’ll find out THIS SATURDAY!
LAST MAN STANDING:
RAVE KILLBOURN vs. JACK NIGHT w/ CASTOR STRONG
We all know by now that the hatred between these 2 has been ongoing since late January. What started as your ordinary singles competition, began taking twists and turns into a whirlwind of events between these 2. In February, the aftermath of one of their many matches took a turn for the worse for RAVE’s former manager LISA whom suffered a devastating piledriver from CASTOR STRONG, unfortunately sidelining our CLASH diva permanently.
These two have been through it all, singles, tag competiton, NO DQ, Dueling Canes, and tonight they write their final chapter in an epic LAST MAN STANDING match where the objective is to knock your opponent out for the 10 count by any means possible! Will RAVE gain redemption against NIGHT, or will NIGHT and STRONG be the final men standing? We will soon find out!
PARKING LOT BRAWL:
WILL VENDETTA vs. TOMMY TYDIE
This one has gotten so hot, that not even the Taylor Town Trade Center can contain the hatred for these men, which is exactly why it won’t. Instead, these two will take to the Parking Lot in their final encounter after a grueling 5 month ongoing rivalry. Back in February, these two men battled it out in an unforgettable Street Fight which had taken to the parking lot before…but this time it will start in the parking lot, and who knows where they will go! In the last installment of this ongoing saga, who will take the pride in defeating their adversary, will it be TOMMY TYDIE or WILL VENDETTA?
CLASH CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH:
CAMERON SKYY (C) vs. J. MILLER
It began right before our annual Triple Crown Cup Tournament in March as MILLER had won contendership to the CLASH Championship. Then randomly, these two were involved in the first round of the Triple Crown Cup with Tommy Tydie. Their first one-on-one encounter would take place in Rockwood, MI, and 45 minutes later, SKYY stood tall, remaining champion!
It didn’t end there, as these two went on to headline AGE OF ALLEGIANCE, and once again SKYY stood victorious. However, let’s not forget the tandem offense J.MILLER brings to the table as one of the most athletically gifted competitors in CLASH, these two will butt horns once again, but this time in a history making fashion…the LADDER MATCH. The only way to obtain victory is by climbing the ladder and grabbing the prize. Will it be the millenium of the Murderous Monk, or will the Ace High wheel and deal his way to the top once again? The answers to all the questions will be answered at DOWNRIVER REVOLUTION!
